The Neighborhood:
Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors! Make new friends over a meal at the Cartopia food cart pod, share a pie at Apizza Scholls.
Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 176-acre city park on an extinct volcanic cinder cone, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.
Getting Around:
🚶 Walking — This neighborhood sits between the Division and Hawthorne corridors, two of Portland's best streets for dining and shopping — both within easy walking distance.

🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share stations nearby. Plan a cycling route that suits your trip.
🚗 Driving — Public street parking is available where signs permit; costs and restrictions vary. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) pickup times vary.
✈️ Airport — Plan your PDX drive or MAX + bus trip around current traffic and schedules.
Other Things to Note:
- Ground floor unit
- Need to walk up 2 steps to reach exterior front door
- Bed platform is elevated off ground, however a small step stool is provided for those needing a little lift ☺️
- This apartment is located in a multi-unit building, so occasional noise from other tenants may be heard. Open blinds can make the ground-floor interior visible from outside.
