Everything was beautiful. There are a couple of things that could be improved, like the showers not having glass doors and water splashed all over the bathrooms and all over the clothes since the closet is located in the bathroom area . But overall, beautiful resort, lots of activities for kids. Love that you can leave them at the daycare and they actually watch them and entertain them by going to cinema for movies and taking them to the splash zone. Restaurants were good as well - staff super friendly and accommodating ( except the check in crew -girls at the front desk could be a bit more nicer in the way they respond)

Over Promised and Under Delivered

I don’t have a lot of experience with all inclusive hotels, but I was mostly underwhelmed by the food, drinks and service. I had high expectations and we paid for the elite room (and service?) but it really didn’t seem worth it - I can’t say we ever got better alcohol or service. The restaurants don’t open until 6 pm for dinner and forget about them actually having an indoor table for you if you have a 7:00 pm reservation. I really wanted to like this hotel, but I am very happy to be home in my air conditioning as the rooms just didn’t cool enough and there was no place to get away from the heat during the day, including the pool which felt more like a hot tub. For the price tag, SLS should do better!

The staff at this hotel were generally unfriendly, and check-in took quite a while. The hotel doesn't have a buffet for lunch or dinner, so dinner reservations are required. However, dinner reservations can only be made three days in advance, so on two nights we only had reservations until 9 p.m. The service at the Lotus restaurant was particularly poor. The front desk could only book us dinner until 9 p.m., but we weren't seated until 9:50 p.m. After we were seated, we were told it was last call and no additional orders could be placed. We understood and placed our order immediately. Then, after waiting another 50 minutes, we were only served our appetizers, no main courses, and told that the kitchen was out of food and closing. This was outrageous. We complained to the restaurant manager, who responded with a rude attitude, saying it was none of his business. I've never encountered this kind of situation at an all-inclusive hotel in Mexico. Another night at the Italian restaurant, we had ordered an non alcoholic drink from the menu for two children, showing the waiter what we wanted YET we were given 2 alcoholic drink, causing an 11-year-old to subsequently faint and vomit from the alcohol after a few sips. During our visit to the resort this time, there was a major algae bloom. The seaweed they pulled up from the beach wasn't immediately removed and was placed on the side of the hotel beach. Our room was probably very close to the seaweed as there was a constant smell of

The stay was amazing. Beautiful rooms, views and experience. The alcohol selection for the all inclusive could be tweaked but I would definitely stay here again.

I liked that the resort seemed very clean, the staff were respectful and kind, the captive swim out room was really cool. Area of improvement: when we got there I had to put a $500 hold on my credit card, which seemed a little steep. That alone would have been fine, but immediately after I tried to make dining reservations and I was shown the menus with $150-$300 prices. It was like they were trying to push these paid options instead of the including options. That was not a good first impression because then I spent the entire vacation wondering if they were scamming me and secretly charging me for things that I didn’t know had a cost. Everything I ordered I felt the need to ask if it was included, and was waiting for a secret bill at the end. It was not a good way to enjoy a “relaxing resort”. Also, we only had a pool DJ once during the stay. I felt that should have been daily. The days seemed a little low on fun for adults at times.

Mi estancia fue excelente, el servicio de los butler's luis y alexis fue genial muy atentos, en la piscina de niños igual ever y mauricio siempre pendiente de nosotros y en el restaurant lotus el chef gerry tambien. Solo algo que señalar que no nos gusto fue que tuvieran el restaurant Barracuda de niños cerrados por la supuesta baja ocupacion del hotel eso lo vi mal porque si tienes 8 restaurant de adultos como vas a cerrar el unico que tienes para niños y otra cosa que deben mejorar es el menu del buffet en el desayuno que todos los dias era lo mismo y arriba en el area elite muy poca variedad de comida no nos hizo sentido subir mas si casi toda la comida estaba abajo, en fin noa emcanto el hotel y el servicio lo recomiendo 100%

The property is beautiful and the staff is very nice but not well trained and they keep trying to sell upgrades all the time.

We stayed at the resort most of the time. Beautiful rooms with a plenty of dining options. You need to book a few days ahead for a table. The staff are friendly but sometimes they were understaff at the pool. We will stay again!
