We had a few issues. One was the code given to us online did not match the door code and I have to call several times to get the right code. The other thing you might want to improve on is the address to the parking garage entrance which is on a different street than the address given to us. since we don’t know the surroundings, it took a while to find the entrance to the parking lot. The room was nice and we enjoyed the convenience to be able to walk to wherever we want to go in old Quebec city.

This property is definitley not suited for senior citizens or anyone with any type of mobility issues, or who is not tech-savvy, with it's virtual front desk. The communication was poor, as we requested a lower level room, and were placed as far away from the ground floor as possible. If it was about room selection, we should have been told that the room we selected conflicted withour request to be on a lower floor. I had to lift our suitcases up 52 steps, one step at a time. We dreaded each time we came back to the hotel because of the three flights of stairs we had to climb. The " virtual check-in" was chaotic and very unclear. We never dealth face-to-face, or even by voice, with a human. This place may be ok as a youth hostel, but other than that, I'd stay away from it.

The window was broken and would not open, room was very stuffy. Shower was inconsistent temperature and water. It is an old property and we knew that but is was rundown and the electricity didn’t work for about a half hour during check out. The stairwell was pitch black. Would not recommend.

Terrible experience! The room had a TV, but there was no remote. When I called customer service, they told me the TV didn’t work and were completely unwilling to help. The room smelled bad and had little flies everywhere. The bathroom was filthy, with cracked and missing tiles, peeling paint, and no hot water at night. Everything felt old and neglected. We didn’t feel comfortable at all and even preferred using public restrooms instead of our own. I know it’s a budget option, but this was beyond unacceptable. Save yourself the hassle — don’t stay here!

Very attentive staff, room was clean, very centric. Provided late checkout at no additional cost. Just know you will have to walk through an alley where the dumpsters are. Not a pretty sight if you care about this. In the picture when booked, it showed a different apartment. So, it was a surprise.

It's not a fancy hotel by any mean. It's in a very old small building right in the middle of old Quebec, so the room is old. But the room was clean, with clean beds and mattresses, and clean bathroom. Only thing I wanted to be improved/fixed was 1. The light on the 3rd floor was off, so it was dark and quite dangerous to go up/down the stairs. 2. Too few wall outlets. I was able to find only one spare outlet to plug in my phone charger in the bedroom. Other than that, communication was quick, location is unbeatable, parking is convenient and just across the street.

The location is perfect, just a 10 minute walk to Chateau Frontenac, but having to walk up 4 floors, the last with no handrails, was a safety risk for anyone over 60 or mobility issues. The room was tiny and bed pretty hard.

Very confusing to get to. We were not sure which door to go to. The stairs to get to the 3rd floor were very saggy and seemed very unsafe. No privat le bathroom, no free parking, window that was not closing properly, sheet that were partly stained. It feels like it was definetly lacking maintenance and care. The only thing it had going for is the location in the middle of old quebec and very walkable from the touristic area.

The bed in this hotel sagged in the middle when 2 people are in it and very hard in the middle. We kept running into each other. Our medical records show we had no back pain issues until this hotel stay. Significant back pain resulted in the first night stay where we did not sleep. This Hotel refused to fix the mattress issue after the first nignt and said they had no other room for us to use. The second night, the back pain increased and we gave up trying to sleep at 5:30 am and advised the hotel we could no longer stay in a room causing us distress and the use of medication for pain. We have traveled the world, been to Quebec City 4 times and never had a bed this bad ever. There was some settlement offered that does not cover the damages or the last minute new hotel we had to book for 2 nights close by at the lowest rate we could find with only one room left.This intial hotel asked us to give them until 9:00 am to solve the problem but they did not. We have never made a complaint against a hotel but did so with Expedia who made the booking for us. We are considering legal action to recover our damages this hotel is liable for. They also ruined a major trip to Quebec City.
