Demanded a $200 bond for a pre paid rooms “just incase i charged anything to the room” a credit card #/details would not do. “Suites” were below average, only thing that made them different to a 3+ hotel room was the separate lounge/bedroom No additional facilities in room, no mini bar, no milk provided, given a coffee plunger but only provided with 2 instant coffee packets Besides the manager(and wait staff) of the main restaurant onsite and the bellhops, the staff were judgemental and robotic, this made us feel un welcome and as if we didn't belong. Overall if this is what The Hilton brand represents i will never stay with the brand again, to compare the service and amenities/rooms for a comparable price the Sofitel in wellington provided a 200% better experience and welcoming service. If this is how they run there property i do not know how they are still in business
