Showed up at 12:00 and was told check in was at three but come back at two and she would check us in. Problem is out of 50 rooms we were the only customers in the entire hotel. I have many times showed up early at various hotels and been checked in early as long as the room was already cleaned. Even though there was not one single other room rented not here. We were the only visitors all weekend long. I thought the front desk lady was rude and not kind. I know this was a winter stay and summers are probably busier but I still expected to be treated better. I will never stay there again

Friendly and accommodating person checked me in, gave dining suggestions. Area is lovely, small harbor, restaurants just a few blocks away. Room includes not just a coffee pot, microwave and small refrigerator (typical where I usually stay), but a counter with sink too. Heater in bathroom is great but the one in room blew nothing but cold air.

The staff was cranky because we checked it 20-minutes early. We changed rooms from a king bed to a double queen room and was charged more for the queens. She put us in the end unit and we lost our "harbor view". If you travel a lot then you know the 'pet-friendly' description is a joke. My dog has never caused any problems and yet these motels find a way to charge. $25-$50 for "damage" that never occurs. Beware this motel has no air conditioning. We stayed in early September and had to open all the windows for a cross breeze. We wont stay there ever again.

The room was clean. The staff was cranky because we checked in 20-mins early. The room charge was increased because we asked for a double queen bed instead of a king bed. She put us in the very end unit thus taking away any harbor view we might of had. The room rate climbed to $215.00 a night - so the total bill was $430.00 Travelocity might want to go the extra step in explaining the pet fee because every place we stayed had a different price for dogs. I don't mind paying a pet deposit but if there is no damage then it just becomes an extra way to make money off your guests. My guess is the older dogs and smaller dogs are zero trouble and the extra money paid is just pure profit - a sleazy way to increase the profit line.

This is a very basic room, but it is clean and the staff was friendly. Our room had a good shower head, which is hard to come by. I will definitely continue to use this Inn when we want to visit without camping.
