I had requested a non smoking room. The room I had smelled of smoke and was on the opposite side of the side indicated as non smoking room. So I had a non smoking room on the same side as smoking rooms. My room stank but I couldn’t move rooms because I got back late and was too exhausted. Very disappointing and just gross.

Silver Legacy was a great find! Nice casino connected to 2 others. 1/2 block from Reno Arc for pix. Was another 1 block to Amtrak for our ride back to Chicago. Gordon Ramsey's Kitchen was terrific and Natalie our waitress was very sweet.

We stayed for two nights and had two rooms. My 82 year old father who is having trouble seeing and getting around was with us in a room right next to ours. The first morning a cockroach fell out of the keurig in the room and my wife snapped a picture of it thinking it was dead, turns out it wasn't dead and ran off. When I went down to report it the manager treated me like it was my fault that a roach had been in my room and was very brisk and unfriendly. Not something you would expect from the manager of the hotel part of the casino. The room they moved us two was down a floor at the end of a wing which turned out to be a pretty long ways from the room my Father was staying in. It felt like we were being punished for reporting a cockroach in our room.

The hotel was decent, but most of the bars and dining options were closed. For the price, including an excessive resort fee i would expect better. Mediocre experience at best

Staff was rude and maid service never came. Had to call on several occasions to get towels for toilet paper. This was a short stay of 3 days and they charged for an early check in of just 10 min. I will never say there again.

Silver legacy is clearly the nicest hotel in the row. Our room was updated and modern. The staff was helpful and friendly. The restaurants and shops are well maintained and clean. I noticed the escalators broke down frequently. Once you leave the row, Reno is dirty and destitute.

The rooms were amazing & reasonably priced. They were going through a major renovation that was a little bit of a hassle…. But the construction crews were all very respectful.
