Not all “pet friendly” rooms are created equal. It was nice to have rooms that don’t smell dingy. Seems like it was either recently built or recently refurbished. Either way everything was great!

We had to have our room changed, both adjoining rooms had dogs that never stopped barking. We were put in a different room, not happy about that after driving 7 hours. Will never stay at this hotel chain again.

The staff helped me find two rooms on the same floor since I was traveling with my family. The rooms were clean, though the amenities provided are not that complete (no facial wipes, no shower caps, no body lotion etc). The Wifi and parking are free. The breakfast really was well prepared and varieties are good (fresh fruits, eggs, sausage), it would be nice if they can add bacon. The pool was large and had a connected portion to the outside. We didn't go in though. My family had a pleasant stay with good sleep there. We would stay here again if we visit Richmond some other time.
