Quiet and Lovely Oasis

Love staying at Hotel Academy. The staff were all very helpful and nice. It was so close to eateries and the Ocean. it was a great place to stay before our flight home!

Pros: 1: Cost of stay. 2:Property is in a nice location close to the airport and many options of food choice close by. 3:Staff was polite and helpful. 4:On site parking. Cons: 1:Room needs attending. While bed was clean, walls, floor and bathroom needs to be cleaned to a higher standard. 2: Only two pillows in the room and both together were flatter than one standard pillow.

Advertised as a WiFi and smart tv hotel , neither worked , talked to front seat about it and said nothing they can do cause room was far from router , which indicates they’re aware of problem , I asked if they could move us to a closer room and flat out said no , I would not stay here again .

If you need an inexpensive room near the Rome airport, this may fit the bill. The room, especially the bathroom was small but adequate. The staff was great and the location convenient to the airport. A shuttle was available. The breakfast was good. The place was clean. Would stay again. Would be convenient for quick visit to Ostia Antiqua or the beach.

Clean, comfortable, functional rooms. Extremely convenient to the airport (10 minutes by car). One-block walk to eateries. The staff were efficient and very helpful. The private parking yard is small, but we got a spot even at 6:00 p.m. Excellent value for the price.

Would not stay here again

The directions for getting a shuttle from the airport to the hotel were not correct. After contacting the hotel a second time, we missed the van and was told it would be a one hour twenty minute wait for the next shuttle. The shower was extremely slow in draining and it appeared to have been taken apart and not fixed before we got there. The sheets had stains on them and did not present a welcoming environment. The shuttle in the morning ran every 1 1/2 hours. We ended up taking a ride share. The cost of the shuttle is 8 Euro per person each way. No indication of the cost when we booked. Pictures indicate an updated remodeled room. We obviously didn't get one.
