Centered in Rome’s city center. Surrounded by a truly Italian atmosphere where you can eat and drink in any of the infinite available restaurants around the hotel. Will be back.

Hotel is small and quaint. It boasts the city’s oldest running elevator. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The only downside is that 4 different keys are required to get to your room at night. But you feel safe!

Amazing location and very clean!

The clean room and location made our anniversary very memorable. I would absolutely stay here again when we return to Rome. The historic elevator in the hotel was one of the coolest parts of our trip.

This hotel was in a great location, easy access to several restaraunts as well as the Colosseum and many other popular attractions by walking. Carla and everyone else at the reception were super helpful and were always availible to answer any questions we had!

Best location

You cant beat the location...you can literally see parts of the Colosseum from the doorsteps of the hotel. Lots of eateries around this neighborhood. Several mini marts to buy your drinks for the room. The room itself is basic and outdated BUT we were only in there long enough to shower and sleep .

Hotel centrally located

This hotel was a half mile from the Colosseum. There was plenty of restaurants around us. We walked everywhere in Rome.

Great location & value for money overall

Really nice hotel that was within walking distance to all main sites (colosseum 10 mins along one straight road, other main sites 15/20mins away). Room was a decent size for a family of 4 and the elevator was a beautiful old one (one of the 1st in Rome). Staff helpful and sent over list of nice food places etc. Only negative was that we were charged a fee to check in ‘late’. We have in the past been charged to check out late but found the fact that we arrived at 10pm (having paid to sleep that night) a little unfair. We were told the fee was €30 and this was only mentioned to us via messenger after we had booked.

Everything was great and convenient the only thing I was missing was the coffee pot. If you are a coffee drinker they don’t have coffee maker or microwave either! Otherwise the place is clean and spacious.

Not very welcoming and strict rules

Be aware that check out is a very early 10:00am (and hotel will send constant reminders/messages to check you’re leaving), there’s a €30 surcharge if you arrive after 8:00pm, there’s 5 keys - which is a real hassle, reception is not staffed all the time and the man hides in the dark behind closed swing doors. All in all, it was not very welcoming and a bit of a time warp. Location is good though and it’s on a quiet residential street.

Got there and the staff was super nice and accommodating. However got to the room and heater was malfunctioning and cleaning staff left the window open in December. Room was 45 degrees and took still next morning to warm up. Spotty wifi when working and they dont offer breakfast buffet any longer like they advertised. Not the worse place to stay but i wont be returning.
