Good budget apartment in a lovely neighbourhood

This apartment is on the quieter side of Trastevere, but still very close to all the bars and restaurants for which the neighbourhood is famous. The apartment is comfortable and full of character, including a vintage collection of a previous owner's books on literature and politics! There is AC in the living room, but none in the bedroom. The fan in the bedroom was enough to make us comfortable, but if you need bedroom AC then please take note. Otherwise, this is a good budget apartment in a lovely neighbourhood of Rome, and we enjoyed staying here.

Not so good

The gas was not connected when we arrived, hence no hot water for shower and such. It was not fixed before the next day. The bed sheets are not “closed” around the blanket, and slides off during the night. Just one pillow for each person. Not very flexible. No dishwashing machine, and you have to wash all the dishes before leaving. You have to dispose the garbage before leaving, but garbage containers was 300m from the apartment. The sofa in the living room is very old and worn down. If you like to live in an old fashioned and worn down apartmeny, with no view, this is the one. The surroundings are nice with nice cafes and restaurant close by.
