Nice little stop

This was a super nice little stay! It is not fancy and is an older place but it was very clean, in a safe but convenient area, and the bed was super comfy! The AC unit was pretty loud as it kicked on through out the night and we were on the bottom floor so we could hear the stomping upstairs, but that’s typical for being downstairs! We would stay here again! The gal who checked us in was super nice and offered some great ideas for places to eat within walking distance! She was very helpful:)

A nice property conveniently located across the bridge from Roseburg center (about a 12 min walk). The hotel and room were very clean. Breakfast was a decent continental one, though not substantial.

My room was directly across from a VERY loud ice maker that grumbled and rattled every 15 minutes. When I told the owner the next morning, telling him that I had been up half the night, he shrugged his shoulders and said, "No one has ever complained about it before." My answer: "What possible difference does that make?" He offered me 10% off the bill, I asked for 50% because I was up half the night. I rejected the 10%. I did suggest to the owner that he himself spend a night in that room, because I know he would have had to believe me if he'd experienced the room himself. Honestly, I felt that I was not taken seriously because I am a woman. Cannot recommend this hotel because of the attitude of the owner, but it's also in a sketchy area with street people just outside.

Floors dirty and shower didn’t work properly. Stayed here before and there’s a noticeable difference from then. Groundskeeper not doing a very good job. Next time will stay at the Holiday Inn Express next door.

Worked for an overnight road trip stay on our way from WA to CA with our dogs. Likes- convenient from I-5, pet friendly, pet area, easy check-in, cheap. Dislikes- dated, loud AC, parking full near our room, dirty floors. Neutral-not sure how I felt about the mounted bottle opener above the bathroom door knob, but I was amused enough to take a pic. Never saw that one before’ lol
