Our early holiday stay
I gave three stars to most items as I know this is a new listing and everyone needs to start somewhere. We travel and stay in VRBO's often as a family and there is a regular consistency the was not present with this rental. There was no check in or check out procedures provided and I had to search to find contact information to be sure everything was ready before starting our six-hour drive to the location. The host was very kind, and mentioned he was local when providing the access information. When we arrived at the property the house was clean however did not feel staged and ready for our arrival. We had to go digging to find basic needs, turn on the ice maker inside the freezer and the kitchen was very minimally stocked with stickers still on the glasses. We washed them before using. A weeklong stay and cooking meals for a family onsite would have been difficult with the such bare essentials. There was only one kitchen towel, so we used the dishwasher the first night. The pump was clearly broken and was so loud we could not hear the TV. We ran it at night and had to close all our upstairs doors to muffle the sound. Toys and some flip flops were in the backyard lying about and several children’s balls on top of the awning out the master bedroom window. The house felt like someone was living there, yet deserted at the same time. It worked for our purpose that weekend as we were gone most of the time.
