Our "Slice of Heaven, located near ski resorts, U of U and Downtown Salt Lake

Welcome to our little “Slice of Heaven”! This charming, updated home, located near the heart of Salt Lake City, allows for quick access to the Park City ski resorts as well as the four major resorts in the Salt Lake Valley; Snowbird, Alta, Solitude and Brighton. A short 20 minute drive from the Salt Lake City airport, the home has a nearby major grocery store with a Starbucks, and several local coffee shops and restaurants. No matter your destination - downtown Salt Lake, the University of Utah or our beautiful canyons and all they have to offer - it is a hop, skip and a jump to the freeways to take you to your destinations.

From soup to nuts this home has been completely updated in the past year. Four bedrooms provide room for 8 or more guests in two primary bedrooms with king beds, one bedroom with a queen bed and one bedroom with a bunk bed. Each floor has a beautiful bathroom, a laundry facility and a family room complete with TV's, games, books and puzzles or space just to spread out and relax. The kitchen is to die for and provides a gathering place for the simplest of snacks or the most delicious chef's meal. For business travelers there is a dedicated work space and high speed internet for all your online meetings. Several TV’s throughout the home allow for each guest to take time for themselves and enjoy their favorite show. The private, serene backyard has space for dining, grilling and enjoying the gorgeous views of the Wasatch front and downtown Salt Lake City.

Each guest will have access to the entire house with all the amenities

This home is located on a quiet, shady, and safe cul-de-sac in one of Salt Lake City's most charming neighborhoods. The completely private backyard means your only backyard neighbors are the birds residing in the refuge in nearby Tanner Park. The double deep driveway provides parking for four cars. No matter what brings you to the Salt Lake area - families, tourists, conference goers, skiers, hikers, business people, traveling nurses, a couples getaway, or a group retreat - this home is the right place for you. Our goal is, and always will be, to provide a home away from home for our guests. Now, in what was once our family home, we have achieved our goal and hope our guests feel the same sense of belonging we experienced growing up. We live right next door and will be available for recommendations, directions and solving any issues that might arise, but unless you ask we will leave you alone to enjoy this "Slice of Heaven"!

The home was well stocked and great for our family ski trip. It’s in a great location and it was easy to get to/from the slopes. The hot tub was also a great way to relax and end each ski day. With lovely views of the mountains from living room and dining room and the very large hot tub, it had everything our family needed. This is indeed a “slice of heaven.” Melissa was so welcoming and responsive. The location is easy for many things - whether you’re headed downtown or up the canyons to ski. The house is beautiful, well-appointed, and was so comfortable for our group! Every detail has been thought of, and it made it so easy to walk in, settle in and have a great girls’ weekend together. The fact that there are two family room/lounge type spaces would work well for a larger group. The outdoor space in the backyard is also a big asset. The kitchen is spacious, well outfitted and easy to cook in. Thank you so much for such a lovely space, Melissa.

We loved this place! The beds were SO comfortable and there were so many common spaces to enjoy community. The back yard has the most incredible Mountain View and was so well groomed. The hosts made us feel like VIPs and we had one small issue that they responded to immediately which was so helpful! Highly recommend staying here.

A great blend of modern amenities and classic decor. The host was very accommodating and friendly. Overall the rooms were well kept and clean. We did have a issue with some bedding that wasn't quite clean, but that was it. Great location and very enjoyable both day and night. Hot tub was great, BBQ was super clean and worked great. Kitchen was very well stocked, but the coffee maker needed some descaling (Keurig saved the day though). Overall, it is a great place with awesome hosts.
