The room was a decent room and for the price it was a good find. There were issues such as the water not draining in the bathroom sink, and the noise level as you could hear your neighbors. The area around the hotel was not the best, at night people who were obviously using drugs were around the neighborhood. The staff was welcoming and quick in their service. If I was looking for a budget option, I would stay here again.

The hotel is in need of an upgrade (fresh paint, better elevators and lobby decor and furniture). The sofas need to be replaced as they are dingy and flat. There is also a great deal of dog mess in front of the property and has been tracked on the steps which means that it is tracked into the lobby, DISGUSTING! It does have very comfortable beds and hot showers. The tv’s have Roku which makes it easy to watch. The location is cool too.

The hotel is average for the price they charge, it really should be cheaper. One night, the room heater turned on automatically, and there was no one available to fix the issue. Many guests, including myself, struggled to find assistance, and some even had to look for other accommodation options. The manager, Antony, was unhelpful over the phone, and the front desk staff seemed helpless to resolve the situation. Housekeeping service is not available at night or in emergencies, and there’s no front desk intercom or breakfast provided. The only positive is that some good restaurants are located nearby. The hotel is at the edge of the Tenderloin area, so you’ll often see homeless people around. It’s okay during the day, but I’d advise being cautious after 8 PM.
