I stayed here 10+ years ago and it looks like they haven’t done anything to it to maintain. Some broken fixtures and major wear and tear. The fabric chairs in the lobby are so incredibly dirty and worn out. The rooms have chipped paint and stains on the ceilings. The cleaners aren’t cleaning the mugs and only wiping them out, the counters in the room were sticky. I bought some Clorox wipes and cleaned the room and bathroom after they came in and cleaned it. It has little to do with the staff and everything to do with the owners. They will need to step it up or they are going to loose major business. I won’t be back unless they solve the problems. With that said, the building is cool, it is a boutique hotel and it is charming. So with the deferred maintenance resolved and some staff training, this place could be great again, like it was.

The room was very old, with many broken items and quite dirty—there were stains everywhere. The Wi-Fi and air conditioning weren’t working, but thankfully I was able to open the window for some cool, fresh air. On a positive note, the staff was friendly

First of all, the staff was wonderful. Our room was quaint and clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I really enjoyed the full sized bathroom. I will definitely return!

Freindly and helpful staff. Overall, the hotel is clean with small signs of wear due to it's age. Was definitely a good stay, just be aware of your surroundings in the area. Hotel itself seemed safe.

The staff at the front desk were all highly professional, willing to accommodate my reasonable needs (eg extending checkout time till 1pm, reserving the taxi for my trip to the airport, holding my luggage until the night, and purchasing my hop-in hop-out bus tour access with a 10% discount they brought to my attention. It is a secure bulging as only people with a key can enter or use the elevator. There is a nice Italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel (lunch and dinner) and reasonably priced. A few doors away there is a breakfast place too. The room I was assigned to didn’t have an attractive view, but that meant it was not facing the road and was very quiet. I appreciated this feature. The walls are thin, so I could hear my neighbors talking. They, however, were reasonable people and not noisy late at night, and holding friendly conversations among themselves. So the ambiance was nice. Although the bathroom door had scratches and some pieces of furniture looked a little worn out, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the availability of a desk area was nice. The closet is of good size, perfect for dresses. There were many drawers around the room for clothing. The room had the necessary items to iron and to dry one’s hair. I appreciated the fact that the lights went off automatically, and were motion sensitive. I had a nice stay.
