The home looked nice in the listing, but unfortunately our stay was extremely disappointing. The property advertised air conditioning, yet there was only a mini‑split with no remote available, leaving the house hot and uncomfortable. Cleanliness was a major issue: we found dead bugs throughout the home, foggers under the bed, a dead fly in the sheets, ants on the bathroom counter, dead bugs in the freezer, and even a dead scorpion on the headboard directly above where we slept.Several basic amenities were not functioning. The refrigerator’s water and ice dispenser didn’t work, the shower doors were covered in soap scum, and the door jambs were visibly dirty. None of the bedroom windows above the beds had curtains. There was also no cable or internet.The host was kind enough to let us check in a couple of hours early so we could get ready for a funeral, and we truly appreciated that gesture. However, the overall condition of the home overshadowed that kindness. The house appears new and well‑presented in photos, but in reality it was not maintained and is located in a very rundown area. I would not recommend this property until significant improvements are made.
