The room was fine, clean and comfortable. Check-in was unfortunately unorganized. We arrived 30 minutes prior to check-in, but didn’t get a room until 2 hours later only because I approached the desk to inquire (a group of 70+ kids appeared to be priority). When we arrived at our room, we entered and it appeared to already be occupied. I returned to the desk and was assisted by the person who seemed to be the manager on duty. They apologized for the inconvenience and I was assigned a room that was a downgrade from what I booked. They stated that there were no rooms available of the type I booked. I’m sure the staff had their hands tied and couldn’t produce what I had booked, but that appears to be an issue with whatever online booking platform they use and may want to reconsider that aspect of their business. The people were polite, but a customer should receive what they pay for. Also, said group of HS aged children were in the hotel halls being loud each night engaging in tossing a football, running, and other antics. We stayed at this Hyatt because our flight was cancelled due to weather and had to extend our stay another 3 nights. Our original stay was also at a Hyatt 45 minutes to the west. That Hyatt was perfect and everything was smooth. Perhaps this particular Hyatt should model themselves more like the other one.

Room was good, pool was not good at all and bar service around the pool was expensive. Overall, you get what you pay for. Next time will do La Concha and just pay the high amount for a better location and experience.

The room was okay, I booked earlier and asked for early check in and they didn’t have it. You can never get in touch with the staff so I had to use instant message. The pool was so cold, the hot tub didn’t work. Other than that it was okay. The staff was pleasant and nice. The food was over price.
