This is an excellent motel. Definitely the best value for the money on our trip. It's unique and work and love goes into this business. I wouldn't hesitate using it if I were ever back in the area and would recommend it to anyone.

Who I assume are the owners at the front desk were super friendly and kind people, the room was nice and clean and the location was great with many local businesses within walking distance and conveniently located near Hearst castle. This place had an indoor pool that was open and great fresh coffee and snack in the morning, I would definitely recommend Coast Riders inn.

Very friendly and helpful folks at the front desk. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Smart TV, microwave, coffee maker, and cool red retro mini-fridge with freezer were nice to have in the room. Yummy cookies provided upon check-in, two free water bottles in the room and continental breakfast (pastries, breads, fruit, coffee, etc) were also appreciated. Location is terrific if visiting Hearst Castle. We’d stay there again.

I don’t know why Google Maps describes this place as a two star hotel. Hosts were very receptive at check in and gifted us cookies and other trinkets, parking was easy, the bed was large and comfortable, and the tv had a good set up. It is a great stop on highway one to wake up, do Hearst Castle early in the morning and continue the drive. Nearby Cambria has great restaurants for dinner too. Would recommend.

Perfect place to stop and take in the local sights. The inn not only provides breakfast during reasonable hours, it is also in walking distance of 3 restaurants. Rooms are clean, cozy, and in plain view of the pacific. Staff is very friendly and up for a nice conversation.
