Las Brisas Villa #2 is a minute's walk to the beach. It's within Las Brisas Condos & Villas and is a spacious 2,500 sq.ft. (606 meters) 2-story 3 bedroom/2.5 bath detached home that offers a lot of comfort that accommodates up to 6 persons. This is perfect for families, friends and couples. Upstairs you'll find the Master bedroom with private bathroom w/ceiling fan, King size bed, large closets, and a balcony with views of the ocean, tropical trees, exotic birds and howler monkeys. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed and third bedroom has two Twin beds.The second bathroom in hallway.
Downstairs offers an open floor plan, kitchen fully equipped with a large granite counter with 4 chrome stools plus dining table that seats 6 persons. In the comfortable living room there is a sectional sofa, coffee & side table, a flat screen television with 70 cable channels & internet. All bedrooms have linens and bathrooms have towels. Beach towels available too.
Also, a Futon and guest bathroom, laundry room with washer, dryer, iron & board and sink. A/C units and ceiling fans upstairs and downstairs. Front patio has a patio table for 6, stainless steel bar-b-que grill, ceiling fan and an awning to keep you in the shade. On your walks within the complex you will enjoy the salt water swimming pool (24X48/ 3 to 6 feet deep) and it's lovely landscaping with tropical plants, brightly colored flowers and lots of fruit trees. Also at the entrance of complex there is 24/7 security guards & guard house and one marked parking space available for Guest. I also provide a play pen and a high chair if you need them just let me know in advance.
As a Guest you have free access to the Condovac Resort next door and all amenities such as infinity pool with swim up bar, children pool, tennis/basketball courts, live music and shows. Also 20% discount on food & beverages.
The surrounding area: Santa Rosa and Rincon de la Vieja National Parks about an hours drive away. Monteverde Cloud Forest and active Volcano Arenal about a 2-3 hour drive away. Deep-sea fishing and Witches Rock about 25 minutes away by boat. Playa Coco with lots of handicrafts, nightlife and restaurants are only about a 15 minute drive from Las Brisas.

Amazing stay at the beach!

This property is exactly as described in the listing. Super close to the beach, great pool in the courtyard, lovely neighbors, and nice restaurants nearby. The grocery store was about a 10 minute walk away, and there is a really close mini mart. Relaxing and convenient; would definitely stay here again!

An amazing home and location

I stayed for four nights with friends in late February. The condo is immaculate with everything you could ned for cooking and sea bathing. It is located in a gated community and is about a 3 minute walk to beautiful playa hermosa beach. Both the owner and property manager were gracious and so helpful. It was a perfect place to vacation.

Great vacation

Had a fantastic stay here. Property is a quick walk to the beach and while close to the Condovac where you can do more activities ans book tours, this rental is a nice quiet place. Would love to rent again!

Great vacation!

We enjoyed very much our stay. House is not new but has everything you need and everything worked well. Some construction noise nearby and traffic from the nearby street. House is surrounded by beautiful flowers and trees and many different types of birds. Great pool area and short walk to a nice beach. Owner and property manager very responsive.

Wonderful Stay

We enjoyed our stay immensely! Lovely property. Spacious home. Beach is just across a small street. Condovac resort is next door so expect music from 8-10pm but also lots of fun if you want to join in on the party. Two breakfast spots within walking distance on the beach. Communication was quick and easy on WhatsApp with property manager. Thank you for a wonderful stay. Already dreaming of coming back!

This villa is beautiful with a lovely salt water pool and is just steps fom the ocean. The guards, gardner, and property manager are all top notch. Hoping to rent this villa again!!

The best house we stayed in while in Costa Rica

My husband and I spoke with Leticia on the phone prior to going to Costa Rica (CR). She was polite, patient and helpful especially in telling us about the odds and ends of things we may have not even thought about related to going to CR from the USA. The add doesn't showcase the house enough. When we got there, it was like going home. The house was clean, ready to live in, well aerated, smells fresh, everything USA standard. Since we had already stayed at two previous houses prior to getting to Hermosa, comparatively, when we got there, it was like a breath of fresh air, like we were on a long, long trip and finally made it home. So thank you Leticia for opening your home so that we can enjoy all of its beauties and comfort. We treated it gently and would love to go back on our next excursion. I highly recommend this house.

Quiet, clean, safe

We enjoyed our stay. Property owners great to deal with, did not meet Property manager but was responsive to updates related to early check-out. Had late check in so no one showed up around villa but we managed. Pros: Gated, well maintained, private pool was AWESOME, clean, close to beach, Beach was lovely. villa has AC, wifi, ceiling fans, and everything we needed. walk-able to food and grocery stores for basics. Cons: Almost too quiet for young adults, minor nitpick - not enough toilet paper for 2 week stay, difficult to carry heavy luggage upstairs to bedrooms. twin beds room was hard to cool, resort next door was disappointing (bland and overpriced food/beverages, unfriendly to "guests", filthy pools).

We would do it again!

Spacious, clean, private, very safe, amazing pool! Everything worked: the ceiling fans, the stove, dishwasher, Wi-Fi, TV, hot water, washer and dryer, etc. It was a great place to be for a relaxing vacation. We would definitely choose to stay at this beach-side property again. Though it has nothing to do with the property, we would recommend renting a vehicle. If not renting one, use Costour (Pepito is the owner) for transportation and tours.

Pura Vida!!

This wonderful condo was exactly as advertised! It had all the essentials we needed and was it was beautiful!! We loved it all. The pool in the morning and at night was fantastic. We also enjoyed the pool and swim up bar at the Condovac resort next door, which we were grated access to because we rented this condo. The beach was so close and we swam in the waves and snorkeled daily. We felt safe and comfortable in this complex. We’ll definitely be back! Thank you for sharing your condo!

Comfortable, clean, great location

The home is beautiful and clean, and the location is excellent. It really is just a short walk to the beach, about half of a US city block, slightly downhill. Of course, that means coming back from the beach is uphill, so people with mobility issues may have some problems. It isn´t terribly steep, but it is definitely uphill. The bedrooms in the home are upstairs. Air conditioners in the bedrooms work great, and the air conditioners in the rest of the house are pretty good. Bathrooms are large and nice. The pool is more private than it looks in the photos, used only by residents. The only people we saw using the pool were older women. We are older women too, so we felt very comfortable there. We did not use the pool much, though, because the beach was so close. There are restaurants within walking distance. One you pass on your short walk to the beach. The others are just down the street. A soda on the left hand side as you walk down from the villa is excellent. We ate there more than once. We watched a family of howler monkeys playing in the trees on that street one day. We enjoyed watching the birds from the downstairs patio. The place was easy to find. Wifi connection was great. The guard at the gate was friendly and made us feel very secure. He was always present and quick to let us in and out with a friendly wave and smile. I only have two things to quibble about regarding this home. First, when we arrived we were met by a teenage boy who handed us the keys, showed us where the air conditioner remotes were, and left. It would have been nice to have been shown around a little and given a brief orientation to the house, the villas, and the area. Second is the contract itself. I willingly signed it, so I knew what it contained, but after staying at this home and others on our trip, I find the cleaning requirements here a bit strict. No other home owner required us to perform any cleaning prior to leaving. Of course we had no problem removing our own trash, but being required to perform other cleaning under threat of having to pay a fee seems harsh. I would suggest to the owner that those cleaning requirements be removed.

Amazing find

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful condo in playa hermosa. The pool was steps away and the beach was literally a two minute walk away. The condo was spacious and clean. It had everything we needed. The managers were very attentive as well

Perfect location

This location was perfect. Beach was a very short walk across the street but close enough that you could let the sound of the ocean relax and put you to sleep at night. You wake up in the mornings to the sounds of the beautiful birds in the area and the howling monkeys. Monkeys were also seen several time from the villa windows. The villa was well equipped, very clean and comfortable. The management staff and owners of the property are very helpful should any repairs be needed. We would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a quiet relaxing getaway.

Pictures don't do this place justice! The condo is very clean, spacious, and safe. It is only one block to the beach! We debated to rent a place with a view or a place closer to the beach and were happy with our decision. From the condo, you can hear the waves crashing and howler monkeys. The pool is very nice, just steps from the condo. We swam every night after dinner, listening to monkeys and cooling off. There is 24/7 security at the condo complex. The guards don't speak any English but are friendly. Very safe...when we checked out, I realized I missed a patio door that had been unlocked the entire week! I checked doors every night before bed and thought we were locked tight so, it's safe there with barbed wire fencing around the perimeter. We cooked breakfast every morning and packed lunch for the day. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a washer/dryer. Next door you have access to the Condovac Resort beach with shade, lounge chairs, and access to boogie boards and medical if needed. You can ride the Condovac shuttle up the hill to amazing views, decent pool, and restaurant (woodfired pizza!). No shade at the pool though and it is very hot there! Drinks were just OK, nothing fancy. Playa Hermosa beach area was nice, several beach restaurants and a small grocery store. It is a black sand beach and so you can't see in the water and there are poisonous but not aggressive sea snakes on the beach. It is very hot so you need to be OK swimming with sea critters of all kinds (stingrays, jellys, snakes, etc). Lots of friendly and hungry iguanas to share your lunch with on the beach! We took a sailboat across the bay to snorkel where we saw dolphins swim along the boat, lots of fish, and monkeys in the trees. We rented a car at the airport and went on day trips. Condovac has a concierge to help book trips. We had a fabulous time at Las Brisas! Highly recommended.

Better than Advertised!

We were a group of six with two teenagers. The condo was ample room and the kitchen was well equipped. WIFI was good. Lots of space on the patio. The pool was great. The added bonus of being able to use the resort next door was excelllent. The beach was really 50m away and a great seafood restaurant 25m away. The beach is fabulous with excellent waves for body surfing and mother nature cleans it every night. Best beach we've been to in CR. We went down to beach for the sunset almost every night. This place comes highly recommended.
