Staff were friendly, and the room as nice, but a couple of issues, check-in at 2 but the room wasn't ready until gone 2.30, no toilet roll was left in the room. Pillows could be a little firmer and TV reception needs to be improved. Bath lovely and breakfast was nice

Room was ideal for a brief overnight stay. The bar area was relaxed and the option of ordering food in the bar rather than dining in the restaurant was exactly what we wanted. Staff were friendly and professional. Only minor complaint was that we had to wait 40 minutes for our food in the bar

Lovely sized room with everything you need for an overnight stay. The shower was a bit poor and couldn’t figure out how to fill the bath! The beds are too firm that we don’t sleep too well. Great location and excellent breakfast.

Power cut in hotel on arrival I was given a room where the emergency lighting didn’t work so completely in the dark ! The staff advised me not to try to have a shower in the dark Went out and returned later to find there was still no power so my room was moved to one with lights working, but I still had to try and pack my things in the dark Then in the morning there was No hot water! I complained to the front desk who seemed unaware of the issue but then other people complained too I should have been offered a refund as the whole experience was awful!

Asked for a room close to a lift certainly got that but the room was very small and the bed uncomfortable. No Hot water for a morning shower and only one comfortable chair to sit on. There were two bath robes in the wardrobe but extremely small and far from soft they had definitely seen better days. The breakfast room was very hot and crowded we were placed next to a window and the sill was filthy it hadn’t been cleaned for quite some time. We were impressed with the maid who cleaned the room we were in 231 by the way, she found us a fan and was so helpful. Another shout out to the lovely lady preparing the hot food at breakfast it’s a shame you haven’t got more staff like her. Stayed at this hotel fifteen years ago quite regularly but this visit was a total disappointment and we will not be returning.

Stay here quite often. Staff were not that helpful this time. Chef and staff clearly arguing with each other at breakfast. Generally a bit rude around the hotel. Understand it is party season but music too loud too late for the swimmers in the building who were getting up at 7am. You could hear it in so many rooms. Booked for the summer again but may consider alternatives.
