When we entered the room, we were greeted by a bed bug on the pillow. We could see it from across the room. We went to the front desk, and told the receptionist that we needed to cancel our stay. Obviously, we would not stay in a hotel even in a different room that was known to have bed bugs. The young girl was gracious, said that she was so very sorry and told us that our credit card would not be charged and they would take it out of their system. But, we have been charged, and we need that rectified.

Only thing I didn’t like was it was only one elevator and the pool room was cold. Pool water was great but sitting in the pool area was cold. I think wet floor signs should be in the hallways by the pool area.

The walls and the floors above are not well insulated. You can hear the people above loud and clear. You can hear them walk and even talk. Not easy for sleep. Bring ear plugs for sleep!!!

Good: It was convenient to access. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Lots of countertop and storage space. Quiet, effective HVAC. Not as good: Check-in was incompetent. I reserved two rooms for our 4-person family through Expedia. One purchase, one confirmation number. Check-in clerk said she only saw one room listed. She could not do anything with the Expedia confirmation number. She had no suggestions to help. The lobby was empty and she had plenty of time to make the effort, but she didn't. My partner finally suggested that one room might be listed under the other adult guest's name, which solved the problem. I don't know whether it's the hotel's or Expedia's failure but it's absurd that both the rooms weren't linked to my name when I made the purchase.
