Serviced apartments in South Kensington

The room is clean and big. However the toilet flush was not working properly but they tried to fix it but can't be done straightaway. Staff are very helpful. There was a lot of food choices during breakfast but I am not really a breakfast person. So I just enjoy having coffee and bread and fresh fruits. Love the swimming pool. Location wise I personally .chose to stay here for some appointments that I have around this area

100 Queens Gate is a refurbished set of townhouses, with fully reconfigured interior. The best part of the hotel is the service and the decor. The not-so-great part is the room itself had some weaknesses that needed to be remedied. 1) The wardrobe closet door squeaked hideously. Was fixed after complaint. 2) The HVAC was hard to understand and erratic. Sometimes the room was too hot, sometimes too cold, and incomprehensibly cooling when it should heat and vice versa. The hotel needs to do an internal audit of HVAC performance 3) Toilet flush was sticky and sometimes unresponsive. 4) The tub has friction pads near the shower head, but needs them also near the tub exit. Also the half-glass shower curtain means with bathroom floor gets wet very easily. 5) The safe didn't work 6) Room was small (as expected), the booking info should specify room size. 7) One of the elevators failed for a day or two. 8) There should be a bathroom on the main Ground floor. 9) 10+ year old TV does not accept ChromeCast or AirPlay. 10) The hallways are narrow, which makes it impractical to leave garbage outside the door when guests don't want to be disturbed. Service: Daytime the service is excellent. Very attentive and helpful staff. Nighttime, not so much. 1) On one occasion the night man was a rude to one of us, and didn't help when clearly needed. 2) Room service is weak at night, with very few offerings and a menu that seems only available online.
