Not quite the Bali experience you might expect.

The hotel grounds are very beautiful and the view of breaking waves is relaxing. The hotel is 'on the beach' but the beach sand is covered with debris; the hotel bordered by two small rivers with fast water emptying into the ocean so impossible to walk the beach far at all. So, don't think about a long walk on the beach. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. Free use of bikes is unrealistic as the speeding motorbikes, sometimes on the road shoulder make a bike ride unsafe.

The staff and room are great. It’s a very nice hotel. This was my first time to Bali and I didn’t really know the different areas. I loved the hotel but the only thing is that it’s in a very quiet location with little to see or do outside the property.

A peaceful, luxurious stay

Such a gem of a hotel- couldn’t have asked for more! A little bit of luxury :) The staff were so welcoming, accommodating and courteous, especially all the servers in the restaurant. The food was exceptional! Loved the infinity pool too, the grounds are kept immaculately. My room was beautiful, plenty of space and lovely design. A wonderful stay.

I have travelled across the world for over 50 years and never have i experienced a property of this outstanding quality across every facet of hospitality. The physical characteristics are exceptional; the gracious elegance of the building, the combination of views from the ground floor of the huge lateral pool over looking a lake which over looks the ocean. The quality service by everyone from the large gardening team caring for the beautiful grounds to the housekeeping to the reception to the restaurant staff is simply faultless. The GM , Rajiv Srivastava, must be given the credit as he would have to take the responsibility for any defects. The resort experience was so excellent / relaxing / perfect we never moved out to explore the beauty of Bali. We will return here but next time for longer so we can have another week here.

Exceptional Stay! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with warm smiles and exceptional hospitality. The staff is the heart of this hotel—friendly, professional, and always eager to assist. The hotel itself is stunning, with elegant decor, spotless rooms, and breathtaking views. My room was spacious, well-furnished, and incredibly comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of exploring. Housekeeping did an outstanding job maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a fresh and inviting atmosphere throughout my stay. The dining experience was equally impressive. Every meal was a delight, with fresh ingredients, delicious flavors, beautiful presentation, impeccable service and attention to detail. The facilities were also excellent. Staff wise, Jia and Ali were lovely. Hotel was lovely though in need of a bit of a touch up. The balcony of the room we stayed in was massive but could have done with sun loungers as a waste of space. Also one of the railing struts was loose and dangerous as a child could push against and fall. Pool was fantastic but loungers were past their best and in need of replacing as too low, falling to bits and mattresses were splitting and fraying. There was nothing to do in evening as no bar, we just watched TV in room. Food was average. The gym was disgusting and stunk of mould, carpet was stained. Ot was lovely going to sleep to sound of waves. Gardens and grounds were very well maintained. Enjoyed watching the resident family of geese each morning as they swam the lilly pond. We had a very relaxing stay and the staff were very welcoming and accommodating.

A total mess, under big refurbishment & construction. Nothing like described on the website or other media. Rooms dirty, moldy & damp, had to clean cupboards ourselves before use. The pool with 2 sun loungers & 2 bean bags & restaurant were the only facilities for use. Ended up staying 2 nights but booked in for 14, cancelled booking, got total refund (thank you) & moved. We stayed here few times in the past when it was lovely. We enquired why the huge difference then found out it had been closed with no maintenance for the last 3 years. Sorry staff but it had to be said & you really do need new uniforms.

Amazing peaceful place

It was the most peaceful resort we ever been. Amazing staff and service. Food was great as well. I recommend to all my friends. It is truly hidden gem of bali. Other places were loud and crowded but this hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Only few minutes away from the safari and it was really fun!

Rumah Luwih is a beautiful hidden gem, surrounded by beauty and insane scenery of the beach. It is a special quiet haven away from the busyness of Bali it is a real retreat. The people that work there are exceptional and make the stay all the more worth while, the food was insane! Everything was great and the room’s were soo large and modern. Thank you for all the time spent making our time special

Luxury Resort with fantastic view

This resort is very luxury resort with fantastic ocean view. Breakfast is very good, sometimes order individual foods and sometimes buffe with various items. Swimming pool is good for view and convenience.
