The hotel was great other than the fact that the AC only worked for the living/dining area and the bedroom was hot. The weather was not even that hot when we stayed in late June but had to sleep with the bedroom door open and even then it was hot. There was a switch in the bedroom to open/ the vent but the switch didn’t do a thing to cool the room down but also made such a horrible loud racket sound it was unbearable. Everything else was nice; kitchen was well stocked and grounds beautiful and hotel staff very friendly. Not sure if we will stay again though due to the AC issue

The room was large, but lacked sufficient A/C. Whomever thought it was a good idea to have one wall A/C to cool a suite is not very smart. These rooms have a fan cut out in the bedroom area to bring “cool air” from the A/C living room area. Also, the room we stayed in had black ants in the restroom. To remedy the ants, Lysol disinfectant spray was provided by the front desk staff. If you want to encounter black ants and sweat while sleeping, book your stay!
