I paid for a 1 bedroom apartment. It was very clean and had great kitchen facilities. The booking clearly mentioned a king bed but the room actually had 2 beds combined into one and assumed to be a king bed. Upon enquiry was told by reception that I should have been specific about not having 2 single beds zipped together as one bed. I felt it was unfair as i paid quite a bit to get a king bed as mentioned in the property details. Found it very unethical and was even told at the reception i should not sleep in the middle. Not sure if all hotels use 2 single beds to make a king but for me it was a bad nights sleep.
