I would definitely recommend the Henry Parkes Motel. We stopped here on route to Brisbane, the family room we booked was very clean with everything you needed. The team at Henry Parkes Motel were very lovely and extremely helpful. The museum, shops and restaurants are all just a few minutes walking distance away. This place was recommended to us by friends.

Motel certainly needs a freshen up and is looking a little old , however staff were friendly and the services worked , also we found out they do not serve breakfast on the weekends so we had to go down the main street

Need new rollers on back screen door & glass door - very stiff. Couch/ sofa bed is too low. Very spacious rooms and generally nicely furnished, short walk to shops in main street.

It is good to see they now have microwaves in the room it would also be nice to see some cutlery and plates to utilise the toaster and microwave. Other than that, the rooms are clean and comfortable. I did not utilise the restaurant so I can't comment on that. The hot water could have been hotter, not sure how that is set up maybe I was at the end of the line.

A little tired ( like me ) but spotlessly clean, plenty of coffee and tea sachets, 5 minute walk to Coles , 15 minute walk to main shopping areas, Restaurant on site , we had a large room at the back , comfortable bed , quiet .
