The Rydges is a gorgeous establishment and so convenient being at the airport. Unfortunately the reception staff member, Kiara was extremely rude, she wasnt hospitable at all, she couldn't process my bankcard and repeatedly said it was my fault and I didn't have sufficient funds and my card had expired. I showed her clear evidence that she was very incorrect. Luckily the manager came over and processed everything correctly for me. Luckily Kiara was the only bad experience i had in NZ. The Rydges is a gorgeous place to stay....just goodluck if you get that receptionist.

Excellent venue for everyone. Off site parking was reasonably close but made easy by reception staff. Short term parking available at reception for loading/unloading of luggage.
