Great place to stay in! Very close to street full of food and two big subway stations, yet tucked in so it’s nice and quiet. Comfortable apartment style living, kind manager, highly recommend!

Jeffrey is so friendly and quick replying for my questions. The room is so cozy and tidy. I just have one thing negative point is no enough towels. I hope they provide medium size towels as well. Other things are very nice. Especially there is bath tub in the unit that is huge bonus point!!!! Overall, I was so satisfied to stay this condo.

<5 mins walking distance to Shin-Ōkubo Station in Yamanote Line, which is conventient. The building is nicely maintained and stylish. The surrounding of the building is a bit quiet but overall I felt safe. On the other hand, you can barely hear any sounds at night so you can enjoy yourselves inside the room. However, once you walk down to the main street, the crowd makes you feel like you are in the 'upside-down world'. Not many amenities available, so please prepare by yourselves. Better to have basic things available there.

The inside is nice but...(2 things to be aware of)

My apologies for the long comment but I wrote below believing the customers should know this information: First minus point was [No Elevator]. This information was not informed in advance and when I reached the property I had to have two men carry my luggage on stairs to 3rd floor. That time, the hotel staff convinced me that he would always help with carrying when I need, but then when I really needed him when checking out, NO staff was available at the property and I was in huge trouble. (I had to call a taxi driver so that he could help me although it is not his job...Japanese taxi driver is the kindest.) 2nd point to mention is that, you cannot use taxi to come to this property. The street is TOO narrow and complicated to find a way to get in where most streets are ONE WAY. Normal / professional drivers wouldn't be able to handle, only the locals who have houses there know how to drive the neighbors - I had 3 professional drivers trying to reach the property spending so much time but at the end all were unsuccessful. I hope this will be a help for the next customers.

The amenities are not that sufficient. Only the toothbrush is supplied. No comb or razor. Receptionist is very good at English and polite. If the Property can help with mailing postcard, it will be much better.

My family truely felt at home at BMJ Shinjuku! The apartment was spotlessly clean, comfortable and really well located. I highly recommend this property, the price is outstanding value also.

- Great location, very convenient for 2 metro stations and 2 main lines. - Good facilities, inc. washing machine (which works) and excellent wifi. - Very quiet and peaceful location, yet also very close to a busy area where you can buy anything you need. - The balcony is great for added space and for drying towels and clothes; the view isn't anything to see, but it is private. - Communication and instructions beforehand were clear and really helpful. - The apartment was ideal for me on my own, but I could not imagine staying here with my wife as it would be a struggle to accommodate more suitcases and there's not enough room or facilities for clothes storage.

The property was very conveniently located next to the train station! The apartment was smaller than expected, though still lovely. Check-in and check out couldn’t have been easier though! I would not recommend having a lot of luggage though, as it can be difficult getting everything up and down the stairs of the stations. I would stay here again without hesitation ^__^

It's a short walking distance from Okubo Station. Staffs are friendly, the instructions are clear. The area are quiet and peaceful. The stairways are abit steep and small, unless our luggage are not heavy, should be fine. Probably can provide some light for the key retrieval area in the riser. Abit hard to see when we came back at night. A good stay at this motel.

Staff were friendly and reasonably responsive via watsapp. The room was cramped for 2 due to the furniture, though floor area seems to be slightly bigger than ave hotel rooms. Condition of the room was clean, do note that the walk to the hotal at night can be quiet and requires walking through quiet lanes. Main street is busy, and the crowd is mostly made up of asian tourists and foreign workers. Cheap eateries abound along the main street. My room had the bed propped against a full length frosted glass window along the corridor. Takes some getting used to, esp when you see shodows hovering outside. They do have blinds for you to lower though.

Comfortable stay, large size property for this area and very impressed with the gadgets in the bathroom (washing machine, heated toilet seat, automatic bath filler etc.). Although very near Okubo and Shinjuku and 2 nearby train stations, very quiet area so peaceful to relax when needed but also handy enough for shopping/nightlife. Owners were very helpful and spoke very good English thankfully due to my poor Japanese language skills. Would happily stay here again.

It's certainly a decent accommodation. I gave service a minus just because there's no service at all (no water or coffee in the room, no housekeeping etc) but that's understood from the beginning and probably to be expected with the price. There's also no elevator. Otherwise room is small but comfortable and it's a great location. Short walk away from subway stations.
