Clean room, very friendly and helpful staff. We sent our luggage ahead to Kyoto from Tokyo and it worked flawlessly! There is a really good bakery next to the entry of the hotel!!!

Overall I didn’t think this was good value for money. This is a very busy hotel with not enough staff for the number of guests. The breakfast is expensive and not very good, doesn’t even include a real coffee. Better to go to the bakery and just get a croissant. The bathroom doesn’t have a fan and there is just one pillow per bed. Everything feels stingy. It’s a good 15 walk from Shinjuku train station, worth bearing in mind.

It was very nice, simple, artistic unique environment downstairs, but always very busy. Good starting point for tourists, as most of the staff speak more than Japanese and you don't have to leave the hotel to get meals.
