I enjoyed my stay here! Positives: friendly and helpful staff. Super close to train stations. Close to tourist sites such as kitchen street and sensoji. Can easily get to other parts of Tokyo. Bed was comfy! Balcony was a nice perk. Negatives: a bit outdated but no real issues. Mostly clean aside from marks on walls, wear and tear? Room was quite small but had storage under bed for luggage. Overall perfect for what I needed and would be good for other solo travellers. (Felt safe alone as a female).

Excellent air conditioning which was so very needed on our trip! We appreciated the price, having our own washroom, a little kitchen! Very quiet area and helpful staff! We absolutely loved our little room for the week we got to stay here! Highly recommend this!

Location of hotel is convenient and close to the train station. AC worked very well and made it feel very comfortable in the hotel after a long and hot day. Hotel staff were always very friendly and welcoming. This time, our hotel room had dark liquid splash marks on the wall. Toilet was a little faulty and the bidet/shower function did not always work.

Close to the train station. Staff are friendly & accommodating. Amenities are great including washing/drying in the basement. Rooms have everything albeit small. Rubbish/recycling daily by 10am. Across the road from Aeon minimart and less than 5mins from other conbinis. Close to alot of restaurants including a Maccas. Would stay here again for it's convenience. Hopefully they upgrade the lift by then.

It was a nice cozy, clean, Friendly staff. Absolutely enjoyed the location, which was not too far from the Ueno station but still able to avoid the major hustle and bustle of the station area. Another highlight for us was that it’s only about a block away from the Kappabashi-Dori (kitchenware street)! With the cleanliness and ease of check-in & check-out. I would stay here again!

Great location, small grocery store across the street and conbini within 5 min walk. Quiet neighborhood and friendly hotel staff. Room is small for America standards but still good size for Japan.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was a little cramped to what I am used to here in America but I will definitely come back again. You will not get anywhere close to a facility like this in the US for the price. I just got to say this was a pleasant stay. I would recommend if only your average size. Big size Americans please look elsewhere.

Walk to ueno station about 15 min or take subway, ginza line which is even closer to the hotel. Room was very very dirty and extremely small. Need to ask for kitchen tools…bare minimum given. Would not book here again.
