The hotel was OK. The room we got smelled like urine and humidity - I want to even say it smelled like a wet rag. There was mold in the shower. I booked an extra room on our last night and that room did not smell like the room I was originally in. However, it did smell old. Likely due to the carpet.

Hotel seems to be about 10yrs old and they supposedly did a renovation 6yrs ago, but hotel seems and looks much older. Definitely is not 4stars and advertised. No restaurants in immediate area so outside of convenient stores, you will need to make a trek for food. Much better hotel options, including other Mitsui Garden Hotels, in the area for the same choice. Do not recommend unless only option available.

We stayed here for 3 nights while getting our bearings in Tokyo. We were an even walk from 3 train stations that connected to different lines, so it made everything accessible. The room was clean and quiet, and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and very helpful when we accidentally locked ourselves out of our room or requested extra pillows. Would definitely come back.
