While the staff were efficient and friendly, they were not there to help tourists with transportation questions or what to do in the area, which was really disappointing. The area is away from a lot of the tourist attractions, therefore, to have a staff member as a concierge would be great for tourists.

The hotel is in a pretty dodgy part of town and security didn't seem to be a priority. My room was small but comfortable and spotlessly clean but had a terrible musty odour as soon as I opened the door. Smelt like wet carpet that hadn't been dried or aired out properly, and no ability to open the windows. An ok hotel but there's many better in the area,

We opted for one of the mid-sized rooms. It was comfortable. Breakfast was actually delicious every day we stayed! Staff were friendly and greeted us. We'd stay here again. Thank you!

I absolutely loved my stay at the Granbell in Shinjuku. I stayed in a15th floor room with a mini kitchen and a separate tub with an amazing view. The buffet style breakfast had everything you could think to include and tasted great. It's just walking minutes from the Golden Gai and the Shinjuku Tower. Every encounter with hotel personnel was exceptional.

Nice ,neat, clean, compact but not too small room in the heart of Shinjuku. Spoke English well. Parking is limited but easy in and out. 5 to 10 minutes off the highway system.

The Hotel is a nice hotel to stay at and good location to travel around the city.

We really enjoyed the breakfast buffet. There were endless options from yogurt to stew. Everything was delicious and that gave us a good start for the day. The room is small, as expected. We had two twin beds that were pushed together. I expected a little space between them. Staff was excellent and helpful.

The hotel staff are super friendly. We arrived early in the morning knowing that the check-in time is in the afternoon, so we were only planning to somehow leave our luggage at the hotel and went out. But the hotel staff informed us that the room was ready and we can check-in immediately. So we got some time to rest before heading out. The entire stay was great!
