This property was clean, updated inside the rooms and had very comfortable beds. The beach sand was super soft and the kids enjoyed playing in it while we sat on the chairs. There is a lot of traffic on the road so don't plan on crossing it or walking all the way into town. Breakfast came in boxes delivered in the morning and their was coffee available.

For a same day booking it was so easy to get checked in and ready to get into the room. Loved that it was a straight walkout to the beach on the main floor. Very clean and friendly and make sure the beach area stayed organized through out the day! Will totally stay here again

Disappointing return to the Beach Haus

Have stayed here before as family of 4 and things were very good. This stay missed missed the mark completely. No one working desk to check us in, had to call the hotel next door per the information on the door, finally she came and she was very rude and verbally not happy about having to walk all the way over to that side. She gave us the wrong information for our rooms and when we finally got to them, they were outside rooms (like a motel). They were not clean, not stocked, and not comfortable or quiet (I could have slept in my car and been more comfortable and had less noise from the road). Breakfast order was late and wrong for 3 out of 4 orders. When we went to check out, again no one at the desk, had to chase someone down who was again less than thrilled to assist a guest. I understand it was after a long holiday weekend but we were paying guests too and we all left disappointed and very tired.

We've stayed at a few places in the area but this was our first time here. It was nice a quiet. Staff was great. Location and property were perfect. Nice little sitting and eating area in the grass with a great view of the bay. Breakfast delivered to your door for free. It was very nice. Hope to stay here again.

The property was beautiful and the staff was fantastic! Chocolate chip cookies every evening and beautiful sunsets and sunrises every day. Amenities, including beach towels, were always available. Could not have asked for a lovelier place to stay.

We really enjoyed the beach house resort. It is exactly like the pictures looked. Lots of road traffic out front but the rooms we had toward the back and the whole beach area are quiet. You can’t hear a thing. When we hiccup, we had our breakfast wasn’t delivered before we had to leave. We get it, things happen, but our breakfast the next morning was very good. Would definitely recommend.

Come & relax for awhile…

We wanted a waterfront stay and this ended up being a great choice. Our room had a full kitchen…even though we didn’t use it much, but having a big fridge helped keep the drinks & leftovers cool. We had a walkout slider to the water and grass yard. Nightly, we used the propane firepit near the water and ate at the tables there as well. On the downside, the building is not new and they put the air conditioner next to the bed which made sleeping extremely loud and the a/c blew directly on us while sleeping so we both had sore throats in the morning. The breakfast provided had five choices and was sufficient until lunch. The service was outstanding as anything we asked for (i.e, more coffee creamer, towels, changing sheets, replacing the propane tank) was provided with a smile. We would stay here again. It’s the perfect place to relax….or hop on a jet-ski next door for some excitement.

Quaint, comfy beach town hotel

First time in Traverse City and didn't know the lay of the land. Beach Haus is an older hotel, but its walkout to the beach and wonderful views from every room make it worth checking out. Breakfast included, and they drop it off at your room at a time of your choosing. Ate on the balcony overlooking the beach while the groundskeeper was smoothing out the sand. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was nice. Air conditioner unit was very loud, but kept the room nice and cool as it was almost 100 degrees outside.
