Our pool villa was absolutely beautiful - peaceful, private and perfect for a relaxed getaway. The staff at Royal Kamuela were exceptional, very helpful and attentive. Breakfast each morning was amazing! Right in the heart of Ubud, yet tucked away, so you felt a million miles from anywhere. We are already planning a return visit. Thank you Royal Kamuela.

Really good experience!!!

We had such a good experience here, the staff work so hard at making sure you’re settling in well and check on you every time. Always clean and is more beautiful than the photos! If you want private yet near the Main Street stay here! The complementary afternoon tea was so cute and I always looked forward to it after a day out. I would recommend this place over again!

Gorgeous villas in the heart of Ubud!

We loved it here, very friendly staff, always looking after us, happy to arrange anything we asked for. Stunning room, great pool, very quiet, good food, we will definitely come back! We stayed in villa 7, which gets no sun, but we were very happy with that, it meant we always had a nice cool little oasis to return to after a hot daytrip! Conveniently located, restaurants, organic cafes, shops, everything around the corner. If we really have to say something negative: the water in the pool was ice cold! I have been a flight attendant for almost 20 years, always stayed at 5 star luxury hotels around the world, so I am spoilt! Kamuela is most definitely in my top list!

Pros: Very nice and luxurious villa, with massive private pool
Cons: The monkeys... one particularly bold monkey jumped up on the table while I was eating and stole a waffle off my plate... I couldn't believe it!
Location: Wonderful, Very quiet close to all
Facilities: Outstanding, Very luxurious; Value: Affordable; Service: Remarkable, Outstanding; Cleanliness: Spotless, Beautiful; It's a 15 minute stroll to the Ubud temple, and there are some very nice places to eat along the way

Pros: The villa was beautiful - it had a very large outdoor pool and the bath was enormous! The glass walls were particulary amazing!
Cons: The bathroom mirrors were scuffed and should be replaced. The wifi wasn't the most reliable and the breakfast could be better quality.

Facilities: Modern, Distinctive; Value: Affordable; Service: Go the extra mile; Cleanliness: Immaculate; Overall a fantastic stay in a great location. Staff were very friendly and happy to do anything to accommodate. Highly recommended

Seclusion Day typically falls in March or April (dates subject to change each year). Check-in and check-out will not be possible on that date. Ngurah Rai Airport (Bali International Airport) is also closed on Seclusion Day.
