Beautiful apartment in Cánovas. Close to great restaurants, shopping and Turia Gardens.

First of all the apartment it is as beautiful or more than the pictures show. The little Oasis that has at the terrace makes it hard to leave the apartment. It is confortable and charming. Great air conditioning for the extremely hot summer 2022. On top of that Ivan the host, is wonderful! He helped us with everything! He answered every question within the hour and was always happy to help and make the best recommendations about the city tours and restaurants. He was so nice he even booked a great restaurant for us one night we couldn’t contact the restaurant. Always at hand, friendly and ready to help you with anything you need during your stay. It was hard for us to leave our little home in Valencia, the fresh croissants at the corner, and the amazing restaurants surrounding the building. We wish we can come back soon. Thank you Ivan!

An oasis in a beautiful city

This property has been refurbished with love and care. It was as described but still above and beyond our expectations. The architectural elements and reflective surfaces made a beautiful, calm, living space and the garden area was the topping on the cake. It is in the heart of a bustling city and therefore you must expect normal city sounds but noise was not an issue as the apartment is in a quiet urban area. 10-20 minutes walk to most of Valencia's sights or a couple of minutes in a taxi from any corner (which is very cheap). Restaurants, bars, coffee shops and grocery shops are all around you. We had a restorative break here - even during a heatwave! I highly recommend this apartment.

Too many faults

On arrival at the apartment we were met by Ivan , who informed us of the many things needing repaired in the flat, the most disappointing of all being the jacuzzi, which was supposed to be repaired by the Wednesday, but this never happened, neither were we contacted with any explanation. This being a major selling point for the apartment, made the stay much less than we expected. The list of items broken or in disrepair include lights not working, wine cooler, TV in room had no Ariel , nor could it move as the bracket was broken, dripping taps, rusty sinks and a bath that had no enamel on the base, thus making it uncomfortable to sit in, water in shower was difficult to control and we had to endure a few cold showers. The tiles in the shower were falling off and were covered with a plastic cover, making it very uncomfortable to stand in. Difficult to find the worst of all the faults, but the blind missing in the bathroom, which stopped the neighbors looking from above was also missing, I prefer not to have an audience whilst I'm on the pan. Our first day of arrival I could not find an iron and on contacting Ivan he informed that the last guests had "lost it", but he would get me one for Thursday, as we arrived on Monday, I informed him that this was not acceptable and he brought an iron the following day. At his arrival at the flat I informed Ivan of the numerous faults, all of which he blamed on previous guests, again I put it to him that this was not our fault and the standard should be much higher, especially as the apartment was described as "Luxurious ". Ivan also informed that he would return later for the iron, but I had to insist that it be left for the duration of our stay, to which he agreed. The flooring on the outside area was not particularly stable and was a trip hazard. When I pointed the faults out to Ivan , he stated that, " you could find faults if looking for them", but I informed him the faults were so numerous they were finding me. Poor attitude from an owner of a potentially beautiful apartment, and he appeared to want sympathy for missing lunch to bring us an iron, I also missed lunch, as I had no clothes ironed to go out. Overall a thoroughly disappointing stay, due to the state of the apartment, but Valencia is a beautiful city, well worth the visit. I do feel we should be entitled to some sort of refund, as the photos of the apartment is not representative of the actual place. Website needs to update before advertising.

Tolle Lage, aufmerksamer, freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Vermieter

Lage und Terrasse sehr empfehlenswert. Abnutzungserscheinungen in Küche und Bädern. Laut Vermieter sind Umbauten/ Renovierungen geplant. Danach könnten fünf Sterne gerechtfertigt sein. In dem jetztigen Zustand zu teuer.

Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand!

Die Wohnung ist toll gelegen, groß und die Terrasse wie auf den Fotos! Aber: Die Wohnung ist in einem sehr schlechten Zustand! Wir kommen nie wieder! - In der Dusche im Hauptbad sind viele Fliesen kaputt, damit man sich nicht verletzt, wurde eine Plastikmatte auf den Boden gelegt. (der Vermieter will das irgendwann reparieren). - Der Abfluß im Badezimmer-Waschbecken läuft nicht richtig ab. - Die Klobürsten waren in schlimmem Zustand, sehr eklig. - Die Holzdielen auf der Terrasse sind fast alle locker/kaputt. - Auf der Terrasse befindet sich ein Abfluss, der übel riecht. Daher kann man die Terrasse nicht so richtig genießen. - Die Ausstattung der Küche ist in schlechtem Zustand - angeschlagenes Geschirr, Töpfe schmuddelig und die Kaffeemaschine schon eklig dreckig. - Der Jakuzzi war defekt; und erst nach vielen Gesprächen hat der Vermieter ihn (2 Tage vor Abreise) repariert. - Bügeleisen fehlt, Wäscheständer gebrochen. - Im Bad lief eine Kakalake rum - zum Glück haben wir das erst in der letzten Nacht bemerkt! Die meisten Mängel sind dem Vermieter bekannt, alle anderen haben wir ihm sofort mitgeteilt. Er war zwar bemüht, aber schaffte es z.B. erst nach vier Tagen die Klobürsten auszuwechseln. Alle anderen Mängel waren bis zum Schluss vorhanden, und der Vermieter war nicht sehr einsichtig. Ein paar Probleme können ja passieren - aber so viele entsprechen nicht der Beschreibung als „Luxuriöse Wohnung“ und die Kosten/Nacht. Schon gar nicht, wenn sie nicht umgehend behoben werden. Eigentlich könnte es da schön sein, auch die Ausstattung ist grundsätzlich ok - wenn sie in ordentlichem Zustand wär. So können wir die Wohnung auf keinen Fall empfehlen.
