Amazing traditional lodge at el Hierro. If you would like to have a few resting days in an beautiful home situated in an extremely peaceful and harmonious place, please, be our guest at casa “el Vallito” in a spot known as Las Casas del Monte, in the neighbourhood of Valverde del Hierro, only ten minutes away from town centre Valverde and 10 away from El Golfo de la Frontera, being a perfect spot to start any trekking routes or trails around El Hierro.

It is just the place to enjoy the amazing silence, the warm climate, spectacular views and sunsets and the breath-taking night skies. The venue offers a perfect combination of traditional architecture from el Hierro, with naked volcanic stonewalls and a modern stile; surrounded by a natural environment, with carefully crafted gardens that combine the principles of Zen in perfect harmony with the local flora.

The house has been crafted by master stonemason Sebastian Molina, pupil of Gaudi himself, who specializes in mosaics, and the gardens by environment engineer Concepcion Garcia Verano.

The stone arcs, the noble old woods from el Hierro used in doors and windows, the detailed mosaics and the gardens, turn the house into an artwork itself. The cosy stile of the house, which is also fully furnished and equipped, will make you feel at home as if it was your own.

It has a fully equipped kitchen a living room with TV and a sofa that could fit two children or one adult, and a small study room with fireplace, as well as two double bedrooms and a shared bathroom.

Very beautiful house with a wonderful garden and porch.
Like a very cozy hobbit house from Lord of the Rings. Spectacular garden! This side of the island is in the fog most of the time but it is easy to get to sunny beaches in less than an hour. Only enough hot water for one person to take a shower before it runs out. Overall however a very special place to stay on El Hierro.

Ich war letztes jahr schon hier und freue mich das ich wieder kommen konnte. Genau so schln wie auf den bildern .tolle A.ussicht Perfekter Ort um Ausflüge zu starten. Sehr ruhig und sauber. Teguise ist auch einer der schönsten Ortschaften der Insel. Die Vermietein Morena ist sehr nett und kümmert sich sofort ,wenn es ein Problem gibt.

Eine schöne Unterkunft für warme Tage
Wir haben den Aufenthalt in dem schönen Häuschen mit schönem Garten genossen. Danke für den Obstkorb auf dem Küchentisch. Wir sind für eine Woche Ende März dort gewesen. Alle Absprachen fanden per WhatsApp statt, daher könnten wir niemanden persönlich kennenlernen oder treffen. Wir hatten dank Calima und bestem Wetter eine sehr schöne Zeit in dem Haus, das auch sehr gut gelegen ist um El Hierro zu erkunden. Es gibt allerdings einige Dinge die man wissen sollte und eventuell verbessern könnte. Als wir angekommen sind, war es im Haus sehr kalt und feucht. Der Ofen zum Heizen steht leider sehr weit entfernt von Wohn- und Schlafzimmer und der Heizlüfter ist überfordert. Die vorhandene Gasheizung wollten wir nicht benutzen, da man diese nicht in geschlossenen Räumen verwenden soll. Das Wetter kam uns aber zur Hilfe so das wir den Ofen 2-3 Tage nutzten und danach nicht mehr heizen mussten. Das Bett unten ist 160cm breit und liegt im Souterrain. Dort war es zu Beginn besonders feucht. Das Bett da drüber liegt besser, ist aber leider nur 140cm breit. Die Ausstattung in der Küche ist sehr umfangreich. Allerdings sollten z.B. die Messer geschärft werden. Außerdem war der Entsafter in keinem schönen Zustand, so das wir ihn nicht genutzt haben. Die beiden Katzen vor Ort sind sehr zutraulich und offensichtlich daran gewöhnt in das Haus zu gehen. Sie springen sogar beim Frühstück draußen auf den Tisch. Da meine Frau ein Problem mit Katzenhaarallergie hat, kann ich den Appell der Besitzerin nur unterstützen: Bitte die Katzen nicht ins Haus lassen! Meine Frau ist morgens immer mit einem kratzen im Hals aufgewacht. Für richtige Allergiker können wir die Unterkunft daher leider nicht empfehlen. Alles in allem ist es ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus welches zum entspannen einlädt, oder - wie wir es gemacht haben - ein guter Ausgangspunkt für die Erkundung der Insel ist.

Sehr schönes Haus in traumhaft ruhiger Lage
10 Tage auf El Hierro in einem in absoluter Ruhe gelegenen, außergewöhnlichen Casa Rural. Umgeben von wilden Grün und mit einen blühenden Garten. Ein Haus zu dem man jeden Abend mit Freude zurückkehrte.

Einfach schön!
Ja, das Haus ist ein Kunstwerk und der Garten ist ein Gedicht. Wir haben es genossen draußen im Garten zu sein, auch weil es völlig ruhig ist und kein Straßenverkehr oder sonstiger Lärm die Stille stört. Nach Ausflügen haben wir uns gefreut wieder in dieses gemütliche Haus zu kommen. Die Fenster im Wohnbereich sind sehr groß, so dass man die Aussicht, den Sonnenuntergang und die beeindruckenden Passatwolken auch von drinnen bewundern kann. Das Haus ist gut ausgestattet, wir haben alles gefunden, was wir brauchten, u.a. eine elektrische Kaffeemaschine, in südlichen Ländern ist dies eher selten, und es gab auch Waschmittel, Seife und Spülmittel, Gewürze, Kräuter und Tee. Beide Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, u.a. besorgte man, auf unsere Bitte hin, für den Anfang Lebensmittel und leitete die offizielle Warnung vor dem heraufziehenden Tropensturm Hermine an uns weiter (es war dann nur starker Regen zum Glück). Die Kommunikation, auch im Vorfeld, war völlig problemlos und angenehm. Eine Anmerkung: man sollte sich nach der Anfahrtsbeschreibung von Conceptión richten und das letzte Stück nicht nach Google Maps fahren, auch wenn es ein kleiner Umweg ist, es sei denn man möchte eine extrem steile und sehr enge Straße hochfahren (auf dieser Strecke sind auch keine Schilder). Wir sind diese Straße einmal herunter gefahren und waren heilfroh, dass uns keiner entgegenkam!

Wunderschönes, traumhaftes Ferienhaus in sehr ruhiger Lage
Dieses Haus ist an sich schon ein Kunstwerk und hat dazu noch einen wunderschönen Garten der zum entspannen und erholen einlädt. Dazu ist das Haus in einer sehr ruhigen, sonnenverwöhnten Umgebung. Die Vermieterin und der Nachbar sind sehr hilfsbereit und unterstützen, wo sie nur können. Wir haben hier drei Wochen Urlaub mit unserem 5 Monate alten Sohn verbracht und es war wirklich alles da, was wir brauchten, Babybett, Windeleimer, Hochstuhl, Pürierstab usw. Auch unsere Ankunft am Haus zu sehr später Stunde war überhaupt kein Problem, wir wurden dort schon erwartet und haben gleich die Übergabe und den Schlüssel bekommen. Und sämtliche Kontakte waren Corona-konform und sehr vorbildlich mit Maske und Desinfektionsmittel. Wir können dieses Haus wirklich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.
