Not the right value for the price

With the average nightly cost of the unit we stayed in in the mid $500s i expected a 5 star level experience. I was disappointed by the level of quality disparity between expectation and the actual reality of the stay. Wether it was late housekeeping that delayed our check in to 1730pm or no housekeeping entirely on some days this was not the standard a mid $500 a night hotel should be tolerating. I would easily spend the extra $100 a night for a stay at the Fairmont to justify the value for money spent. The one saving grace this hotel has is its Cafe/Bar. Absolutely outstanding customer service befitting the title of one of the best hotel brands in the world. They deserve nothing but praise.

Did not like my stay due to the noise. Arrived first and was given the room by elevator when I specifically asked to be away from the elevator. Went back and was given a very nice larger corner room. Unfortunately, south tower is facing the hospital, so expect ambulance noise. But in addition my room was below what appears to be a lounge with constant noise starting at 6 am and going late. Otherwise, hotel was fine. Housekeeping was impeccable. Bed comfortable and location was good. Overall, do not recommend.

Great stay and seamless, pleasant and helpful service from every staff member, we dealt with. Room was comfortable and quiet. Gym and pool areas were spacious, never crowded and a nice part of our stay. View from our 8th floor room was fantastic.

We had a 2 bedroom room, which was very spacious and clean. Self parking was available. Location was good, not far from many of the tourist attractions. Were able to check in upon arrival, which was early, which was nice. Was able to walk to some breakfast places in the morning, within 5-10 min walk, which was convenient.

Bathroom was very small, not a lot of counter space. Had to get shot with cold water to turn the shower on, Not a lot of places to hang towels and housekeeping didn't come once during our stay. That being said, the room itself was very nice, the staff super friendly, and the grounds are beautiful and well maintained.

Beautiful hotel in Downtown Vancouver. We were too tired to venture out much after two days of planes and trains, so we opted to have a few drinks and a snack in the bar. Excellent food and service. For dinner, we decided to eat in the Cafe. Again excellent service and the food was delicious! Our room was everything we expected and more! Clean, comfortable, and the views were amazing! The staff was pleasant, accommodating, and very professional. We will definitely be back!
