Hotel Zed is tons of fun. The water slide and pool area is wonderful. Fresh found coffee for the room was excellent. Grandma’s basement was highly entertaining with the pool table and record player. And the decor was so funky and fun.

If you love 40 year old decor this is the right place for you. It's very cool and worth seeing for sure. $600 a night for basically a motel kitchenette from the 70's in high season however. No coffee maker, laundry room needs alot of work. Add a change machine and maybe updated machines, some bounce sheets, fabric softener even for sale somewhere. It's a cool place. The one in Tofino is nicer for sure.

We loved the 70’s vibes atmosphere of the place. Everyone was helpful with suggestions of places to eat and see. Ruby was a restaurant in the office area and the food there was the best we’ve had for breakfast. The waffles are to die for. Make sure to get the whipped cream. It was quiet at night and we felt safe. They have bikes that you can use for biking downtown. Rooms were clean and we had a mini fridge and a microwave. We highly recommend Hotel Zed as a great place to stay
