Needs to be renamed!

The staff were professional, courteous and efficient. The manager was not; but I'll get to that. I just want to make it clear that this is NOT about any of the lovely young men and women working hard to do a great job. The bathroom smelled like the drains needed a good clean. Just kind of "yuck". There was black mould all over the ceilings and around the top of the walls. The curtains were mouldy too. The bed was so old that I could feel the springs jabbing into me through the mattress. The pillows were so thin that I needed three to make a normal pillow and, unlike most other hotels, they did not offer any alternatives so I woke up on Day One with a sore neck and a blinding headache that lasted for the four days I was there. I was there for work and the headache made my job bloody difficult. I ordered room service food twice. The dinner meal was nice but then I ordered a snack (croquettes) and when I bit into the first one, it was almost frozen on the inside and the replacements were hot but burnt on the outside. When I raised everything with the manager, he was more interested in arguing the point than anything. He comped my 2 meals but left me feeling like I was the problem. Unlike his staff, he looked like he did not belong in a hotel: he was so scruffily dressed and presented. He looked like he should be managing a sports bar instead. He really needs to think about his belligerent manner and appearance. Never staying here again.

NOT SO GOOD !!

Great staff, great bar, nice food BUT and its a big But No hot water in the afternoon in my room I was asked if I wanted to change room but was told there should be hot water for the morning Again No HOT water in the morning so changed room for the last night and there was a party going on in the next room until 3.30am / No discount No apology from the check out staff in the morning WHY IS IT SO HARD !!!!

Big complex but very tied

Pros: location
Cons: renovate the facility
Unfortunately this complex is well overdue for a make over. First time at a hotel that they ran out of room keys so had to be let into our room by a hotel staff member. Restaurant food was very average.

Does the job

A bit old and tired, but good enough value and in a good position. Rooms are large but pretty sure a herd of small elephants were in the room above. Very clean and well maintained pool and spa. Only a short walk to town.

Close to town with good parking

I attended a meeting at the hotel so for me it was very convenient to stay at the hotel . Thee room was pleasant and quiet and although I didn't use them, the hotel had plenty of amenities such as the gym and the swimming pool. I ate at the restaurant and enjoyed the food.
