The room was clean and comfortable. However the accommodations outside the hotel room were subpar. The breakfast was not fullfilling. They only had toast, cereal and coffee. We had to go to the pancake house next door to get a substancial meal. The hotel did however provide a 10% discount. The pool was close to the main road, everyone can see you if you’re in it. Lastly, the staff member at the desk at night was rude after information dumping. I would suggest that they need a paper or folder with all of their instructions because nobody is going to remember everything they said after a long day of traveling.

The stay overall was okay but the hotel needs some updates. First they shouldn’t call themselves a hotel but a motel and they need some renovations! It’s cool for what it’s worth but they need better decor as well. It’s historic roadway in but it shouldn’t look historic either. But the concierge was great. And the bed was so uncomfortable there was no blinds!

My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The staff was nice, the room was huge, clean, and just what we needed. If you’re looking for a place with the bells and whistles this isn’t it. But if comfort, respect, hospitality, and a safe place to lay your head is what you want while traveling this is it.
