Beware that they sell timeshares. Every time you enter the lobby, they approach you. Use the back/side door. There is not cleaning daily, which is fine for us. We were there 3 nights. I asked for towels at 8am and still did not have them at 4pm. Later i saw a towel closet 2 doors down from our room. The studio room is very small. Smaller than a typical hotel room. There is a mini frig, mini sink and microwave. Also a chair and coffee table which we moved a few feet so we could get out of bed without hitting it. We were jn a newly renovated toom (facing the Goodwill and Staples parki ng lot) which had nice decor that matched the historic hotel. The pool area is simple and nice. I had hoped for a little more space in our room, a decent view and definitely did not expect the daily sales pitch. Not a bad stay but just not great.

Super friendly staff. Interesting property layout, looks like the duplexes were added at a later time. Super easy drive into colonial Williamsburg and Jamestown. Would totally stay again.

We did enjoy our trip. We arrived early and they were able to provide a room for us. However, we went to open the door and someone was in the room. It was an employee and a female that was in the room. We were asked if we wanted clean sheets. We were told there was a glitch in the system. Other than that the property was nice.

I stayed only one night but was impressed by the friendly, helpful staff, the quiet, clean room, the comfortable bed and clean grounds. Excellent location close to the historical sites, shopping and dining. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms are small but nice. They have made good use of the space. I like that I can park right outside of my room. I texted that I needed more towels when I was out for dinner and the towels were there when I returned . Very convenient. I will stay here again.Thanks

Likes: really enjoyed the proximity of this location to restaurants, attractions, etc. Easy walking distance to food, groceries, coffee. The price was very nice, including the pools. I finally was happy with the comfort of a hotel bed and the pillows! Having a remote for the A/C was also clutch. Loved the size of the mini fridge and the Monday historical reenactment in the Grand Room. Dislikes: bathroom was outdated, with some lose shower knobs. The sink could have been deeper to allow the filling of reusable water bottles. Lastly, found a dying cockroach in my room the last morning there. Which isn’t surprising given some of the properties have doors that go directly to the outdoors. Would I stay again? Probably…

We really loved the pool! It was open until 11pm, and was still warm enough. We did some different activities in the activity room with Jennifer and she made it a lot of fun! We stuffed some animals, did string art, dyed shirts, and colored mandalas. They also have a small fire pit area with mini golf and sand volleyball court and a small aracde that we won multiple prices at. They also have other fun events going on that we'll check out next time, including a cook out and reenactments. Our room was comfortable and cozy. The hotel is also very close to a lot of resturants and shops, including Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Highly recommend! Definitely coming back.
