The property was in good condition and clean. The only negative thing that was noticeable is that there were not enough proper tables and chairs where the height was proportionate. The majority of chairs were actually sofas and pouffés which were very low compared to the tables. Other than that, the stay was very enjoyable and we would go again.

We recently stayed for two nights and overall had a really pleasant experience. On arrival, we were warmly welcomed and offered a complimentary drink each, which was a lovely touch. Our room was ready ahead of the standard check-in time, which made things much easier. The room itself was clean and well-presented, as well as the bathroom and shower area. The beds were also very comfortable, making for a good night’s sleep. We made use of the leisure facilities, including the swimming pool and sauna, both of which were enjoyable. Unfortunately, the steam room was out of order during our stay, and the showers in the changing rooms weren’t working either. This meant having to go back into the pool area to use the showers, which was a bit inconvenient. In the evening, we spent some time in the bar area, which had a nice, relaxed atmosphere. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly and helpful. The location is excellent right in the centre of Bath and just a few minutes’ walk from the Roman Baths, making it ideal for exploring the city. Parking is a bit less convenient. You can pull up outside the hotel to unload, but it’s only a short-stay bay. The recommended option is Charlotte Street Car Park, which is about an 8-minute walk away. It’s not too far, but it is an open car park. We paid £68 for our stay, as it had to be booked across three days, which felt quite expensive on top of an already pricey weekend. We didn’t eat at the hotel as breakfast seemed a bit steep in price

Handy parking underneath the hotel. Friendly greeting on arrival. All areas of the hotel were clean and welcoming. The deluxe room was spacious and comfortable. Used the bar which was very smart. From what I saw and experienced, this is a very nice hotel which we would definitely choose again.
