Great welcome from sraff team, all round a well run recently refurbished hotel. Some decent views from higher floors on the parkside, exec lounge is worth it and breakfast is good value for money.

Lovely central hotel, only issue we had was that we couldn’t get any air into the room, and it was quite warm. It isn’t enough to put me off, but the air con wasn’t obvious on how to use, and the windows and balcony door not opening was frustrating.

This might just be the best hotel I've ever stayed in. I came straight from work, upon my arrival to reception, the receptionist (Amelie/Amelia?) could not have been more welcoming. As I was checking in, I was offered a complimentary drink which was lovely. I was then offered to sign up to the free members club which I did and immediately got a free room upgrade and 2 mini bottles of Prosecco for the room as I was having a girls night with my best friend. The room was huge, the view was stunning and the breakfast was to die for. Can't wait to come back. Every second was pure bliss. Thank you so much for such a magnificent stay.

The staff were friendly and positive. The executive lounge was not great. Some people went in there by tailgating others and emptying the lounge of nibbles. Saw someone taking all the cookies in their bag. The lounge was not tidied enough. Dirty plates and cups on tables. We went out in the morning, and when we returned later, our room had not been serviced. Despite repeated asking, this was not done until 6pm. Overall good location and not bad but not great either.
