Facility,grounds,pool,beach outstanding. Staff helpful/nice, staff service poor. Basicaly putting people in jobs where they are primarily interacting with guests and have poor or no english language skills. So when you ask a question, or ask for something, and they dont understand, tgey answer "yes" or "ok", then nothing happens. Waitted 6 hrs for 2 bottles of water. They took dirty coffee cups day 1, never replaced them, ect. I know this sounds petty, but im a diabetic with a a phsical handicap and drinking water or coffee are my primary way of staying hydrated. Asked for the fridge to be overstocked with water, remove soda, and the fridge was simply ignored for 3 days. Phone calls to front desk and room service were also impacted by language issues. Like i said, the staff tried to be helpful, but language barriers intervened. Many other examples. Buffet was poor, many dishes had tastes effercted by cross contamination (eggs taste like fish, ect) from inadequate washing of container and glasses, or line cooks handeling prep stations with poor language skills. Dinner service was good. Overall we wanted to, and did enjoy our time at the location. However the inabilities of the staff to assist with even basis problems, again by language not by attatude or action negatively impacted our stay.

Very different from our last visit. The atmosphere has changed significantly — now much more party-focused. Our room was very close to the party area, and noise from the pool bar continued well into the night, with the party starting around 9 PM. If you enjoy loud, lively nightlife, this may be a great spot for you. However, the staff seemed overwhelmed and didn’t have time to offer beachside drink service like before. Not ideal if you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet getaway.

The views are amazing. Property is easy to get around. The buffets are decent for resort buffets, lots to choose from. Sopporo was really good, our chef was funny, the waitresses could have been a little more courteous; I'm sure they pool tips and the chef earns it. The spa was great (Lucely), however 1 lady in our group pre-booked but then couldn't get her facial due to some sort of conflict. All the restaraunts were good! Most every staff member you passed always spoke and smiled. Service from the bell service was great! Alex Ortega and William Colli at Agave were the BEST waiters we had! Very on top of your order, great recommendations! Overall a fantastic Mother's Day trip!

Stunning place, absolutely loved how wide open everything was and how clean everything was as well! This place definitely felt like I was in a some kind of royal palace! Just a few things to mention that we did not like, check in was supposed to be at 3pm. We were told at reception that the room would be ready at 3:30pm and they activated our bracelets and said we can go right in at 3:30pm. The room was not ready and someone was still cleaning it, he said it would be an additional 20 min…so by the time he got out, we got our room after 4pm. The gentleman cleaning our room had the music loud and he said he didn’t know we had checked in. The 2nd thing we did not like was that in our 2nd night we did not make a reservation at any restaurant and we thought we would go to the buffet. Our primary buffet was only open for breakfast and lunch, I’m not sure why there was no dinner offered? When we asked at reception, she said we have to walk over to the Barceló hotel beside us (which is not an adults only area)…20 min later as it was not easy to find, specially in the dark, we finally found this place…it had minimal options of food and the cleanliness and atmosphere did not match the expectations we had for our adult only side. We thought this hotel was absolutely beautiful, we hope that these kinds of things can be easily fixed ☺️.

Beach was gorgeous, property was amazing. Didn't like having to make dinner reservations days in advance but figured out alternatives due to walkablility and use of entire property

The only thing I didn’t like was that they didn’t care about my the fact that I spent my honeymoon with them and also didn’t do anything about my birthday , my 2 celebration were completely ignored, for the rest was really relaxing to stay there
