They love pets at this hotel. Your pets will be treated like VIPs. They offer toys and treats and socialization with other pets. Mornings are really fun here, you can go into the office and eat a simple complimentary breakfast in a really comfy rustic environment and talk to everyone that walks in. We really loved how friendly everyone was. They have movies to rent for free in every category. Really just a great chill spot with really cool people running it from the owners to the managers to the employees. Everyone is just amazing. This is one of my favorite motels that I have ever visited. Also the layout is very 1950s which we loved. I would rate it 6/5 stars if it was possible.

I accidentally checked into a non-view room and had a short window to get down to the beach before sunset. There was no way to upgrade the room, except going through Expedia and waiting for more time than I had , even though the hotel was mostly vacant. It was very disappointing.

Easy parking. However, if you choose to pay the the property, this hotel does not honor that. Come to find out, they charge your card days before your arrival and make it near impossible to refund that if you planned to pay with another card. Rather shady business practice.

The room was very clean and the bed was soft and comfortable. The idea of a throwback motel style lodging was cute. In reality, the walls are thin and we could hear our neighboring room’s occupants each time they used their bathroom. The door had air leaking around it and made for a chilly and damp feeling room. While the property faces the ocean with nothing blocking it, there is a wide expanse of grass before the beach area and the ocean sounds are too far away to really hear them. Also, the beach area is a very narrow strip of sand against a tall cliff. The front desk clerks were very friendly and were an asset to the company but we wouldn’t choose to stay again.
