The positives are the location - walkable but not in the center of the chaos. However, basic amenities were missing. I specifically booked hotels for the trip that had A/C. Here, it was a floor unit that required the window to be open to operate, which obviously does not work. Our showerhead was broken and would not work unless held in your hand. We informed the front desk immediately, but it was never fixed and made showering quite difficult. I spilled a little bit of powdered make-up in the bathroom, and it was swept into a corner and remained there the whole stay, making the cleaning questionable. I wouldn't stay there again.

Located very conveniently to get anywhere around the downtown Canal areas the staff was very nice very accommodating and I would definitely recommend this place. Very very good stay.

We had a great stay for the most part, other than the tiny bathroom, our main issue was the fact that the AC wasn't working. And sleeping with the windows open didn't really help, plus all the outside noise was let in, and they like to party in Amsterdam. Front desk guy was amazing though, and the sandwich shop and Italian restaurant across the street were delicious.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! SO NOISY AND UNCLEAN

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! This hotel ruined my girlfriend's birthday trip to Amsterdam. We didnt sleep at all due to being able to hear everything that was happening in neighbours rooms. People walking upstairs made so much noise. The road was also very noisy.... and for the state of the room - absolutely terrible. Dirty. Blood stain on the pillow and the bathroom ceiling was falling apart... tried to be reasonable but the manager offered no sympathy whatsoever and i had to chase for weeks to get a response. TERRIBLE do not use them!!!!

The room itself was charming, with a great view and some truly top-notch bathroom facilities. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the convenience and location cannot be beat. This hotel made our visit to Amsterdam extra memorable.

Overall excellent experience. Staff were friendly, informative and helpful. Room was aptly described and sized. Small, but has everything you need (mini fridge, AC and heating, private bathroom, drawers for clothes, kettle). The staff were also nice enough to let me check out 1.5 hours late! Really appreciated that. The only reason that I didn’t give 5 full stars is that for the entirety of my 5 night stay, the bathroom had a natural and constant odor of sewage. If I took a shower that would temporarily get rid of the smell, but it always came back a little later in the day. I still recommend this hotel to others and I would book here again! Thank you for a good stay in the city!

My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and the staff went above and beyond. Very easy to get to shopping district and the GVB tram (72hr pass is worth it). The sandwich shop nearby is AMAZING. My recommendation is splurging on a larger room, as the small canal view room is better suited for one person. All and all, great hotel, but just expect friendly staff and a place to sleep.

the bed was good to sleep in. the room was small but I expectd that. the towels were good but the bathrrom and the room had a lot of mould. the shower curtain was filthy. i guess cleanlinessnis jot a priority. I understand there is humidity but there are ways to clean better. really felt i could jot touch shower or walls or windows. The staff were amazing though, which was very positive. overall ok but would not stay again

Location is amazing. It is close to 3 different Tram stops that will connect you everywhere in the city. The sorrounding area is quiet with few dining options and there is a nearby grocery store. Leidesplein is only 5 minutes walk. There are few steps going into the property and the entrance is a little tight, might be a struggle with larger luggages. But there is an elevator 👍 The room is big and clean with partial view of the canal. The bathroom is clean as well it's just there was a smell coming from the drains, not too strong but you will definitely notice it. The TV in our room did not work for our entire stay. The staff tried to fix it but they needed some parts that wont be available until after few days. They offered to change our room but it will be a smaller one and we opted to just stay in our current room. The staff is very friendly, warm and welcoming.
