First, I have to say that I gave this motel 2 stars instead of 1 because the staff really tried to find me something that would work and I appreciated their helpfulness; but I'm just not sure why the other reviews gave such a high rating. The first room I was given had an odor that I couldn't tolerate (asthma), so I was switched to another but the door wouldn't open. They tried a couple more before finding one that had a functioning door/lock. But in the end, I was still having trouble breathing in the room and discovered that here, as well as another motel I booked here in Bend on booking recently (Dunes), they use an unhealthy chemical-based deodorizing spray. Had to check out before even staying the night. I much appreciate the front desk staff attempting to help.

The new morning staff member needed training on check in process. The guest next door kept hitting the wall. Some lady upstairs was loud. The TV digital channels could be higher definition. The walkway near my room needed to be cleared of litter.
