The hotel and rooms are very nice. The staff are friendly upon arrival and provide an easy check-in. The only downfall for us was that the pool was listed as heated, but it was quite cold so we opted not to go in. Overall a great place that we would recommend staying at.

Pretty nice overall, but didnt appreciate the lack of hot water in the shower. A luke warm shower was not what i wanted after a day of travel. Fitness center was nice, but the television had no reception.

My plenty but weird stay

My experience walking in was a wait but i met the most beautiful person at the front desk she made sure my check in was smooth but the room had uninvited bugs and it made me think the hotel need a fumigation and it would be top rate other then that my stay was comfortable and plenty. The staff was a little weird and stirred at me alot and my family and the housekeeping was wonderful they never miss a beat my finances didnt like it when they came to.the door too many times

My kids love the pool which is why I always make sure we stay where there is one. They always look forward for the pool so they can practice swimming. We arrived a few minutes before midnight. I called prior to let the front desk know that we're coming late, the man who answered said their cutoff is 2am which is good. The guy who was replacing the towels in the pool area was also nice and offered to call the maintenance to let them know the pool is not heating. I ended up going myself because the maintenance already told my husband that they kept it running (the pump I guess) the whole time. Noone also cleaned the pool the 2 mornings we were there. One of the front desk people was nice whenever I have something to ask. The pool although it says heated, is not. We asked the front desk 2x and the manager checked it but it still the same til our check out day. I checked thinking my kids would try again. The bathroom could use ventilation fan.

Good hotel in Waltham area

We always stay at thi s hotel when we are in the area because it is always clean and they have an excellent breakfast bufffet. Also, the rooms are large.

Pros: I liked that the hotel was away from the hustle and bustle of Boston, but still a reasonable drive to all the places we wanted to visit. The area was quiet and felt safe. The continental breakfast was actually pretty good. Cons: The hotel itself is in desperate need for updates. The toilet didnt flush half the time. The shower was either scolding hot or freezing cold, no inbetween. And it took 3-5 minutes to warm up. Sometimes i needed to turn the water off and turn it back on before it would warm up. The walls are paper thin; was awoken at 4am to people having very loud sex on the floor above. And could hear everytime one of the rooms next to me flushed their toilet. Room carpet had stains and needed to be washed. Had to wear socks/shoes because the carpet was so dirty it stained my feet. The lobby ceiling leaked and took a couple days to get fixed so we had to walk around dripping water, buckets and towels when we walked through the lobby. Staff was not very friendly or helpful. Most of the time no one was at the front desk. Wont be staying there a second time.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at the B W Plus a lot. There were just a couple of issues; one is that there is no working closed captioning for the televisions, a serious problem for very hearing impaired folks like my husband. The breakfast was plentiful and pretty good, but the apples that I got were not fresh (brown spots inside). The pool is wonderful and there's a good exercise room, though for short people like me, some machines were out of reach. On our last morning, I went to breakfast and found that the key did not work when I tried to get in my room; the front desk took care of this but it felt like a push to get out. Overall, I did enjoy staying at this hotel and would gladly return (if the captioning is functioning) p.s. the staff, kitchen and cleaning folks were friendly and welcoming! Thank you Eileen
