This is a beautiful hotel in a terrible location. The staff were all very kind and accommodating. The rooms are large and very comfortable. The breakfast was decent. Unfortunately, the hotel's proximity to the hospital and major roads means that there is almost constant siren and horn commotion that no amount of white noise will drown out. They do provide complimentary ear plugs and a station on the TV just for soothing sounds, but that was not enough for a good night's sleep. The area around the hotel has a large vagrant population. To the hotel's credit they do have outside security officers and regular stops by the local police to help manage the problem.

The rooms, the staff, the shared spaces; all were fine. The problem was obviously the surrounding noise and homelessness/drug problems outside the control of the hotel itself. Could have used a little convenience store or something similar as there's no options in the area. The sound issue is a building issue that I'm sure is a huge expense...but something I would have appreciated a heads up on ahead of time.

If we’d known the exact location of this hotel we would never have stayed here. We stayed for 6 nights and enjoy walking. However, the surroundings are unsafe and unhygienic with homeless people roaming the area. (Homeless shelter and hospitals) There is a security guard at the hotel door at all times. The noise never ceases with sirens all day and night. The hotel does provide ear plugs 😂It is very sad indeed! Ubers, at a costly price at times, and the hotel’s shuttle bus, transported us around the city. Staff are mostly helpful and the hotel accommodation and breakfast are good.
