Stayed in a 4 pod female room with a private bathroom which was super handy. Reception was lovely-very welcoming person and answered my questions with patience. I was given a low pod as I had requested but be aware that for people with any mobility issues it’s just too low, much lower than the other low pods in other Lylo’s I’ve stayed in overseas. Thin mattress at ground level meant it literally felt like I was sleeping on the floor and it was super uncomfortable. Once I got up to go to the toilet it was too painful to get back down that low so I rested with my head on a pillow on the desk in the room but didn’t sleep from 1am to 4:30 when I left for the airport. Lift was also out so carrying my case up was tricky. Coffee machine was also under maintenance. Location itself was excellent-great pub meals at The Jubilee across the road and very near the train station.

The room was neat and very comfortable, but it was close to the lift lobby and staff doors, without good sound proofing, so I could hear loud conversations and doors slamming as people came in and out. This happened at all hours of the night and sounded like someone was talking next to my bed due to the echo of the hallway - even with earplugs in! Whilst it was comfortable and cheap, I can’t say I feel well rested after staying here unfortunately…
